The location close to Rialto Bridge is a highlight. The bathroom in our room was dated and could use an update, but everything worked and the bathroom was roomier than some of the others we've seen in Italy. The beds were comfy and the air conditioner was great! Included breakfast was a plus. The decor was quirky and the room was small, but it had all the basics covered. We were on the 3rd floor, which was a bit of a maze to reach and there is no elevator, but the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage up for us. They were also helpful with water taxi service scheduling and provided daily room cleaning and fresh towels. Overall a comfortable stay

When you stay at Marconi you taste a piece of history from 1930s. I loved the location it is right on the grand canal just meters away from Rialto bridge. The restaurant next doors serves up amazing food including a a seafood spaghetti that I can eat everyday for rest of my life.

This hotel was in a really convenient location. Being right next to the Rialto made navigating around really easy as most popular spots are right near there. Staff was very kind and let us leave our luggage there after check out since our train back was later. Would stay here again!

Super helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was More than splendid. They even let us keep our luggage while we ventured out. Only minor observation found the matress to be a little firm. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a convenient location just in front of the main canal

This is the most expensive hotel we stayed in, in all our trip around Italy. Having paid $600 per night ee found the rooms very average. Firstly they don’t have a lift so we had to climb three flights of steep stairs to get to our room. The mirror in the room was broken and there was hardly any space to even open the cupboard doors. They have tried to fit 4 beds in a double room charging an astronomical rate for it. We then asked to shift to a ground floor room where the shower had no pressure at all, if you moved the dial towards hot. We complained and they said a technician was coming who never turned up. Staff are quite rude. The lady at the front was nice but the men at the desk looked exasperated if we asked them something. On our last day the hot water completely stopped. The pictures they show on Expedia abd the actual rooms don’t have much connection at all. The only good thing was the location right next to Rialto bridge

Our stay was great! The staff super friendly & courteous. It’s right next to the Rialto bridge. Across from the water bus. Our room was very standard and small but bed was comfortable. Our room was right next to one of the alleys so you can hear the next door restaurant employees throwing out glass bottles. I had to put on my white noise. Other than that it does need some updates but we loved staying there.

A mix of old world charm with great location. However, rooms are a bit musty, & in need of updates. Concierge staff is inconsistent (some would let us take our room key with us, others would not), it seemed strange & up to the individuals discretion. We picked this place in particular because it mentioned having a laundromat (absolutely false). No laundromat available, even though it is advertised as an amenity in their website & in booking sites. Overall, it was an okay experience, similar to what you would expect from a motel in the U.S.

Staying at Hotel Marconi made my third time in Venice truly unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—right next to the iconic Rialto Bridge, with a stunning view of it morning and night. Being able to watch the bridge light up at sunset or hear the early morning buzz of the Grand Canal gave the entire stay a magical, cinematic quality. There were fantastic dining options all around, and the Vaporetto station was just steps away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the rest of the city. The room was antique in style—not modern or flashy—but that’s exactly what made it so memorable. It felt like I was stepping into a 16th-century movie set, and that atmosphere helped me immerse myself in the rich history of Venice. The room was cozy, well-maintained, and comfortable, though it’s worth noting that there’s no elevator, so guests should be prepared for a few stairs. If you're looking for sleek and contemporary, this may not be the place—but if you want a genuine, romantic, old-world experience right in the heart of Venice, Hotel Marconi is perfect. I left feeling like I had lived a small chapter of Venetian history.
