We arrived very late but staff were very helpfull & guided us to our well-appointed cave room which we loved. The hotel is a beautiful stone building spread over several levels on the hillside with a pool and carious outdoor areas. Breakfast was good with the ability to order eggs or omlete to taste

we loved the location and the hotel facilities. Breakfast buffet and the restaurant on top floor were good. We had elderly parent with us and they found it very difficult to walk up and down stairs for buffet about 3 flight of stairs. otherwise would recommend.

The Excexra hotel is a beautiful property however not in a nice area. Our room was spacious and lovely. I believe it to be a large tour hotel as it is close to Georme and was full of tours and tour buses. If I booked again I would book in Georme as it is a very cute town basically the same price. The staff were not that friendly and most of the amenities were closed when were there. We were unable to use the spa and spa facilities. Which was the whole reason we booked the hotel In the first place. When asking for a cork screw for our wine, were informed we were not allowed to drink wine on the property that was our own. Overall it was ok.

The room we requested and booked a few months prior was not available and we were given a cheaper inferior room. The hotel refused to reimburse the difference despite numerous requests Also, on the first night, there were builders working in the room above well into the night and did not stop heavy hammering till near midnight. I had a ballon flight booked for a 4.40 am pick and only got a few hours sleep. The hotel refused to apologise or pay any compensation despite numerous requests and video proof. The breakfast was appalling on all three days, the food was all dried out unappealing, We made do with yoghurt and toast and had to pay extra for fresh orange juice. Very disappointing stay, a shame as the hotel setting and layout and location were not too bad.

Good place just noisy

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is it was very noisy. Our room could hear everything. The staff going up the stairs at five in the morning making noise early in the morning you could hear everything. I don’t know if it’s just because our room was located right underneath everything. But it was really hard to get rest with all the noise. I thought I had booked a room that had a balcony and I was told that there was no balconies. Other than that everything was great.
