Westcord Hotel Eindhoven
"I made a reservation at this hotel mainly because it said room service was available 24/7 and I recently had surgery on my foot, so I knew I didn't want to be walking very much. I also tried to reserve Hotel parking for that reason. I was told that they are unable to accommodate reserving Hotel parking lot space, so I was a little disappointed, but I already knew what to expect. I was also told that I would be able to bring the car by the front door and unload my luggage before I need to park my car across the street. So it was very disappointing to get there and not be allowed to park near the front door. I had to park at the Q park across the street and check in at the hotel, then walk back across the street get all my luggage and walk back across the street again with all the luggage on my postoperative foot. By the time I got settled, my foot was on fire. I relaxed for a little while and then try to order room service for my dinner. The QR code in the room to scan for room service was not working, so I texted the reception desk using Whatsapp. They informed me that room service shut down early because they were busy. However, they said I could walk down to the lobby and buy a drink and then walk back up to my room if I wanted. I didn't want a drink. I wanted dinner and the amenities on the app said that room service was available 24/7. So I had to get back up on my foot and walk again to go get my dinner. No apologies no acknowledgment, and they saw that I was hobbling."
