Nice condo with easy access to beach. The on-property bar & grill was very nice and convenient. Our only complaint was that this particular unit does not have any windows to the outside. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

There is a connecting door to another condo that we were not expecting. We thought it was a locked owner’s closet but soon discovered we could hear conversations on the other side and see when the lights were on.

Honeymoon

It was amazing, the only thing that was a concern was how you could hear everything the unit beside us was saying unfortunately. It sounded like they were in the same room as us.

The condo was advertised just as it was. It was fully stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, bakeware, pans, etc. The in room washer and dryer was very convenient. However if you are needing to use the pull out sofa as a sleeping option do not. The very thin "mattress" was terrible. She was able to use the sofa to sleep on just not pulled out into a bed.The location to the beach was amazing. The pool area was nice, especially with The Deck restaurant attached. The food was great at The Deck. Initially, the parking was very confusing because the parking deck is very small and sectioned off for condos and the restaurant, but not easy to destinguish. Once we got the lay of the land it wasn't a big deal. Overall it was a very nice stay with location and convenience being the best parts.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Private suite for a small family getaway. This location does not have a view but it is perfect for nap time for little ones. Very quiet and cool in the summertime! We are hooked on Beachside Colony and try to visit once every 2 or 3 months.

Stay at Beach Colony

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was ok. The cleaning could have been better. Th rug in the main area was filthy. There were no trash bags, no iron, no extra pillow cases. We were a little surprised at the connecting room. We could hear quiet a bit from there & they a dog that liked to sit right by there door. He did calm down.

Listing was misrepresented

Listing was described as an “expanded one bedroom” but the room that was called a bedroom did NOT have any windows. In the living area there is one window crammed in the corner that looked out on the dark deadend corner of the exterior hallway. The property manager was nice though and made things right.

Wonderful spot for family beach vacation!

Enjoyed the trip so much! Stayed in a one bedroom unit with my spouse. My daughter and her family stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Our unit had all the comforts of home. The tile flooring and area rug need updating or a good deep cleaning in living area but otherwise the unit was clean. The unit had no windows except one small window in the living area that looked out to a wall. We jokingly called it “the cave”—but I’ve never slept so well! It was dark, cool, and quiet. My daughter’s unit was spectacular. It had been newly remodeled and had a lovely balcony. The beach was lovely—very clean and a good crowd. Same with the resort. The pool was full of children, but not a rowdy crowd. We enjoyed the restaurant on premises and ate there several times. The island had plenty of good restaurants and Savannah was just a short drive so we visited there a few times too. So easy to fly in and out of Savannah. I highly recommend this location for a family beach vacation.

loved the pool and direct beach access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, it was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and direct beach access. The staff was friendly. We were a little bummed that there were NO windows in the unit. And the conjoining door to the next room had gaps; you could literally see light through it and hear all their conversations. Maybe adding some weatherstripping or something would help with that.

You will be surprised!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was not what we expected. The air condition leaked down the wall and onto the floor and was extremely loud the first night. Maintenance came to drain the pump. This didn't fix the problem. A technician came the next day while we were away. It wasn't leaking anymore but still extremely loud when the air was running. When we returned to the condo, the door was left unlocked and open. Thankfully all our belongings were left untouched. At 4am and 4:15am on Sunday morning we were awakened to someone trying to get in the door. At 7:15am Sunday morning we heard what we thought was someone in our kitchen dumping out ice but it was an adjoining room(what we thought was a owner's locked closet) right outside the bedroom door. There is no mention of the adjoining room in the listing description. We were SO freaked out by all the events of the weekend at the condo, we packed our belongings asap and left. I would not stay here again nor do I recommend this resort.
