Excellent hotel for the price

I had a great stay at Orchidea during a short passing from Turin. Clean room in a very good condition, very good breakfast and excellent service for one of the best prices in my whole traveling experience from a lot of hotels i have stayed so far! I would definitely stay there again!

We asked to be charred in person and in cash they charged our credit cart and then told us they would send the money back so we gave them cash as well. Still no money back. So we were charged twice.

ok hotel but needs improvement

Overall, it was an ok choice. The close proximity to the train station (Porta Susa) was very convenient as we arrived in and left Turin by train from Milan. Also, the room was clean. However, our room was very cold because there was a window in the bathroom which is not designed to fully close (no latch), and Turin is very cold in the winter. Also, the heating is centralized and does not run all the time. There was a safe in the room but it was locked shut and therefore unusable. In addition, the website where we made the booking as well as our confirmation email stated that check-in time is 14:00, but when we arrived less than an hour early, they insisted that check-in time was 15:00, so we had to wait much longer than we were expecting to check in.

Convenient and adequate hotel

Walkable location for central Turin and easy to reach with a car (parking space is limited, paid and the space within the courtyard tricky to park in). Rooms and the hotel was clean and perfectly good for a night or two. Soundproofing within the hotel was pretty bad, but it never felt too noisy. Breakfast is pretty limited, but pastries were fresh and coffee good.

Good hotel for overnight stay in Turin centre

Hotel is in old building but is clean, comfortable and close to city center. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Parking is available (10 euros per day). Breakfast is ok for the price paid (coffee/tea, croissants and pastries).

Nice Pit Stop Stay

Stayed here as a pit stop. Chose hotel due to proximity to bus station and train stations. Were a little concerned about cleanliness and service based on reviews. Our stay was clean and comfy. Tried a few words in Italian; both night and morning staff were friendly and spoke some English. Night staff ran up stairs twice when guests pulled 'help me' bathroom string! The room was small by US standards but was clean for us. Shower was quite small but worked! Room was a little noisy with guests adjacent and in hallway but this was little bother. Balcony was a nice touch. Would stay again.
