Looks good, fails on basics

Rooms were clean and nicely designed, though the sink in the bedroom and shower opening straight into it felt improvised and odd. Staff were kind but very young and a bit clueless. The real issues were with service: despite requesting a cot for our daughter, none was provided, we were told at 10:30pm (4 hours later) they were “finished,” and only given a changing mat. At breakfast, a sign at the entrance instructed guests to clear their own tables, which felt ridiculous in a hotel setting. Decaf wasn’t served unless we took capsules to make it ourselves in our room. With the excuse of “eco-friendliness,” we felt that toiletries were minimal and there was no bottled water in the rooms. Overall, service and standards fell well below what you’d expect at a 4 stars hotel.

HÎtel tout neuf avec un petit parking à douze euros la nuit. Excellent accueil chambre trÚs bien équipée moderne literie ultra.confortable avec surmatelas. Nespresso dans les chambres. Un buffet boisson chaude jusqu'artisanaux gùteaux maison fruits frais disponibles gratuitement h 24 hors temps du petit déjeuner. Une petite salle de sport équipé de matériels en bois. Tout est fait dans cet établissement pour respecter la planÚte. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment trÚs beau.

J’ai rĂ©servĂ© un sĂ©jour dans cet Ă©tablissement via Hotel.com, avec paiement intĂ©gral Ă  l’avance . À mon arrivĂ©e, le rĂ©ceptionniste a exigĂ© : 1.une empreinte de carte bancaire Ă  titre de caution, bien que le contrat de rĂ©servation ne le mentionne aucunement ; 2.la prĂ©sentation obligatoire d’une piĂšce d’identitĂ©, alors que je suis de nationalitĂ© française. Ces exigences soulĂšvent des problĂšmes de droit. ‱ Concernant la caution : l’article L121-11 du Code de la consommation interdit le refus de prestation sans motif lĂ©gitime. Or, tout ayant Ă©tĂ© payĂ© et en l’absence de minibar ou de services supplĂ©mentaires Ă  couvrir, aucune justification Ă©conomique ne pouvait ĂȘtre invoquĂ©e. ‱ Concernant la piĂšce d’identitĂ© : aucune disposition lĂ©gale n’impose Ă  un client français d’en prĂ©senter une pour accĂ©der Ă  une chambre d’hĂŽtel. Cette interprĂ©tation a Ă©tĂ© confirmĂ©e par une rĂ©ponse ministĂ©rielle au SĂ©nat (JO SĂ©nat, question n° 08727, 2007) rappelant qu’« aucun texte n’impose que les consommateurs produisent un justificatif d’identitĂ© lors de l’achat d’une prestation hĂŽteliĂšre ». Seuls les clients Ă©trangers doivent remplir une fiche individuelle de police. En rĂ©sumĂ©, il m’a Ă©tĂ© imposĂ© des contraintes non prĂ©vues contractuellement, en contradiction avec les principes du droit de la consommation et les recommandations de la CNIL. Finalement, en insistant et rappelant la loi, le rĂ©ceptionniste a fini par me donner la chambre que j'avais dĂ©jĂ  payĂ©e d'avance (non remboursable).
