Hotels on the Lake in Traunviertel

"The view of the lake was magnificent. The views and heritage homes were wonderful. The amount of day tourists were alarming, and the fact the way they behaved. As for the room itself, it was great. My only two issues were that the shower could not be properly adjusted and would always spray out onto the floor. And it was very hot without air conditioning. A fan was provided which helped a little. "

"It was not a fancy hotel, but the room was certainly comfortable as was the bed. Just wish it was a bit closer to Old Town and the major sights."

"The Art Hotel was just a happy experience. All the staff were helpful and spoke English. ( great for Aussies who don’t ) Muller the barman. especially , was super keen to please. Over the bridge from the main square was great, nice and peaceful. Not expensive but let’s face it, as tourists we only need a good bed . Too busy out all day and half the night exploring. "Comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean, great location just behind the main shopping street (but very quiet), close to restaurants and bars, easy access to all the main attractions. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value, and highly recommended."
