The Auburn Holiday Inn Express is our preferred hotel in this area for it's location, cleanliness, and "new" feel. We've stayed here in the past and had another good stay this weekend. Breakfast was decent, and customer service was excellent at check-in. This location feels safe with ample parking. Train and highway nosie may be bothersome to some, and some may wish to know that there is no hot tub by the indoor pool. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We were greeted at the front desk by a very pleasant lady, Maggie, I think her name was. She explained everything in detail and warned us that our room might be a bit noisy due to the trains passing on the tracks across the street from the hotel's front door. If the noise bothered us too much, she would change us to a quieter room on the other side of the building. However, the train noise didn't bother us too much. Otherwise, everything was wonderful: clean and tidy, plenty of free parking, a delicious and healthy breakfast with aromatic coffee, a friendly and smiling staff... and we even met the "real" Santa Claus there. We had nothing but pleasant memories of this hotel. We can confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Auburn, WA. Thank you to the entire staff, who so lovingly strived to make our stay as comfortable and cozy as possible.
