Great stay!

Loved the view of the marsh! The kitchen was well stocked and the overall space was just right for our family and our goldendoodle. Would definitely stay again!

Had difficulty checking in when the front door lock didn’t work. Was unable to reach management group other via text which was slow. Ultimately had to use key in lock box and not door lock. One room had no fan blades on the fan and while they did provide some very basic house items they did not provide any linens, towels or shampoos in the bathrooms.

Wonderful house

Communication and assistance from the property manager was fantastic and they made sure everything was top notch. The location to the beach was great and the views from the many balconies were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

This is my second time at this property and it was perfect again. Beautiful marsh views from the back of the house with plenty of deck space for sitting with friends. Large spaces to hang out with everyone with beautiful furnishings and lots of light. Close to beach access, on the quiet end of Holden. Great spot and I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful marsh views. Nicely appointed home. Comfortable beds. Could use some cooking items. Brunswickland was very responsive to needs.

Relaxing

Great property that needs a just a bit of maintenance (bikes have flat tires, kitchen needs a deep clean, and neither can opener works). Management company was very responsive to issues and kept us informed.

Great location and views

The decks and location to the beach were amazing! We had a great time in the place. Our only issue was a late check in because the cleaning staff were still working. We understand they were understaffed so it was not a huge deal but if you want to get in early or at the time stated I would suggest communicating ahead of time and that day. Communication with the host was very easy. We had an issue with the dishwasher and he responded within minutes to my message and had someone out to fix it quickly. We would recommend this place and stay there again.

Holden Beach

Great location, easy walk to the beach and fantastic view of the Intracoastal out the back. Good beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards and wagon to transport everything. As stated in previous reviews regarding the property, the check in was past 4PM. Needs to be addressed. The property mgr . was responsive to texts. Not that you go to the beach to watch TV but the cable pkg was less than basic. For what you pay in season, it needs to be upgraded. Family had a great time.....

Ok but disappointed because I expected more based on the description

The description seemed accurate if we were in 2018 when the renovations were done. While acceptable in most regards, my overall impression is that the place needs a refresh or the promoted description needs updating to give the shopper a true picture and not a dated one. Two things really stood out and both were important for a vacationer who planned the gathering to be primarily at the rented location and they both went to the basics of such a stay and involved food preparation. The non-stick skillets were scratched and in my opinion unusable and even unsafe. I had to go to my residence and get skillets. The other was even worse and was the grill. It was grungy and had to have been that way for a long time. It needs replacement. Surely some previous guest must have reported this. We did not cook the steaks we bought and instead had to go out and spend close to $500 for a steak dinner at a restaurant. I spent over $2000 for 4 days and I surely expected more. I will not do this again.

Perfect location for the beach and the marsh

Really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and see the sunset over the marsh. Everything as clean, the check in/out process was simple. Nothing bad to stay, hope we can come again next year!

Relaxing weekend

The weather in late May can be a toss-up in NC, so when we picked our rental we wanted somewhere we might not mind getting stuck if it was rainy or chilly. Saltans of swing was perfect for that! The view from the living room of the ocean on your left and the marsh on your right was amazing. Our dog also had a great time hanging out on the porches and watching the birds. Beach access only about 3 minute walk from the house too.

Great place to get away!

Great place to go with your family! The house was a little further from the beach access than I was expecting but it was a flat walk out to the beach- easy to use our stroller and the beach wagon that was provided. The house was great- beautifully decorated and made us feel like we were at a friends place. Thank you for letting us make memories in your home!

Great location and very clean

The location was great and the house was clean with all the amenities my family needed for a nice getaway. The owner was helpful with any questions I had upon arrival. Being able to bring our Pomeranian was a plus!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Holden Beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip. We loved all of the decks and the view of the marsh. Would definitely recommend a stay here when you go to Holden!

Nice place!

Stayed with my family this past week (8 adults and 2 large dogs). House was nice, plenty big, and not too much of a walk to the public beach access. We were able to haul quite a bit of beach gear down and back every day without issue! Only issue was a dirty comforter that we just chose to not to use for the week. When I informed the owner at check out so it got cleaned for the next guest he apologized profusely and informed me that had we told him when we found it, he would have brought us a new clean one! Really really nice and friendly guy and a great house!

Family vacation

Our overall experience was great. Getting to experience the sound and marshlands as well as the ocean was the best part of our trip. We spent many hours on the porch. We love to cook and were a little disappointed with the lack of cookware and the quality of pans that were available.

Hurricane Isaias kept us away

Holden Beach declared a mandatory evacuation starting the Saturday of our arrival. Rob, the property manager, was very nice and kept in contact with us updating us as soon as he was updated on the status of the evacuation and potential reopening of the island. Unfortunately, Holden Beach did not reopen for us to be able to go on our vacation. Although, we did not get to enjoy this property to give a proper review, I will give a review for the property management company. I will definitely use Rob again to rent a vacation home in the future. In the 30 years we have traveled as a family for beach vacations, we have never had the experience of our vacation being disrupted by a hurricane. Rob made our experience the best he could, even giving us other options to still be able to enjoy a family vacation. He kept his word with keeping us updated, and processed our refund right away. I read many other comments on social media pages with renters being outraged with the lack of communication with their rental companies.
