Room smelled unpleasant-perhaps due to the laundry wash process. Dirt buildup in any and every corner of the building. Furniture was chipped. Bathroom tub was chipped. No counter in bathroom. First impression was the entry tile had a dozen broken and missing tiles. The entry carpet runner was worn ragged on all edges. The breakfast was not fit to eat. Coffee pot was ancient with industrial grade coffee. Patio remained unkept of leaves dirt spare wood pieces. Wooden doors were banged and chipped. My neighbors treated me with serious love audio. Never again.

The room was run down and old. Lots of rust on the lamps, door frames, etc. the carpet was filthy. The hallway smelled of marijuana every time we stepped out of our room. The hotel overall is extremely run down.

Location wise its good, we went for a tennis tournament. Currently they are renovating so it was little messy. But the front desk and housekeeping people were very good. so many good restaurants near by.

We found the facility to be spotlessly clean, with a fresh clean scent throughout the hallways. Hot breakfast was okay, nothing special. The $100 deposit to cover "incidentals" was a little tacky.

EXTREMELY LACKLUSTER!

The hotel was in a good location, and that was about it! I was given a handicap accessible room, which I DID NOT book, months in advance! When I let the desk clerk know that, she then said "well, thats all we have left!" Unacceptable, especially since I booked 2 rooms for 7 days for vacation(which the prices were astronomical for this place) The manager was notified, and my room was changed. The hot water pressure in the room was nonexistent, had to wash my hands in the bathtub! The pillows were as flat as used tea bags and the mattress cover was very flat! There were lint balls all over the sheets, making it feel like something was crawling on you. The staff at the free breakfast in the morning was very rude and wiping and cleaning right where I was standing tryimh to make my breakfast. Even commented that she was tryinh to leave early and didnt want to be bothered. As if I was holding her up from cleaning the area. My credit card was charged THREE different times, on different days for absolutely no reason. When I requested to speak to a manager, I left my information at the front desk for the manager. The clerk called tmy room and told me the manager basically summoned be back to the front desk to talk to her instead of talking to me on the phone. I will never again in life stay at this location in Sumter, SC! There were also renovations going on all day and night, which made it very noisy and the fumes were unbearable!

We had to change rooms because the first room we were in had fat worms in the room. The 2nd room was better but there was hair in the bathroom tub walls which was gross. The toilet seat was unhinged on one side. I keep cleaner and plastic gloves in my vehicle so I just took care of it myself. The staff was really nice. Also it's going through a remodel they just need to shut down the pool

The young lady at the front desk was accommodating. I understand the lobby was under construction, but the rooms need to be better. The first room they gave me smelled like smoke, and it triggered my allergies badly. That I had to leave to go get meds. Then the next room, they gave me the mirror frame that needed to be fixed. The toilet seat was falling off. The toilet was rocky. The room had a musky smell. I left to go get more Lysol and air freshener to remove the moisture. The carpet needs to be replaced. I came to Comfort Suites because there was no Embassy Suites in the area, and the rating was 8.2. This is not an 8.2, more like a 4.5. If I could have gotten my money back, I would have. Thank you.

The bathroom in the room was in really bad shape. Dirty ceiling, broken tiles, the shower rod was hung by plywood attached to the walls, dirty walls and sticky dirty hairdryer.
