The property location is phenomenal. Views of the sunset are breathtaking. My only complaints are the age and condition of the furniture and the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. The floors were sandy and dirty. Other than that our vacation was wonderful.
Empty tv cabinet.

The view was nice. The room could use a definite cleaning as there were stains on the sheets in the master bedroom, hair in the shower and weird stains on the bathroom wall in the master bath. Also, we had someone else's trash in the kitchen and had to unload the dishwasher in order to find the glasses.

Excellent and near the beach!!

This was an absolutely wonderful stay for my birthday! The inlet was gorgeous and we walked across the street and walked along the beach for an hour the next morning. There's lots of good food around and the proximity to the ocean is great. The room was very spacious and although the air conditioning unit couldn't quite keep up and it felt a bit damp at times, it was still nice and cool.

Great Location, But Disappointing Cleanliness

I’ve been a repeat guest at Provident Oceana over the years, drawn back by its fantastic location in Treasure Island. The proximity to the beach and local attractions remains a highlight, making it a convenient spot for a relaxing getaway. However, my most recent stay left me disappointed with several aspects that didn’t align with the property’s “luxury resort” branding. The cleanliness of the room was a major letdown. The floors were noticeably dirty, which was surprising and unacceptable for a property of this caliber. Additionally, the kitchen amenities were inadequate for a room designed to sleep six. There were only three regular-sized glasses and four small juice glasses, which felt insufficient. Several coffee cups and plates were chipped, further detracting from the experience and raising concerns about attention to detail. The introduction of a resort fee for pool access and towels also felt like a misstep. For a property marketing itself as a luxury resort, these amenities should be included without an additional charge. It left a sour impression, especially when paired with the other shortcomings. While the location keeps me coming back, I hope management addresses these issues—cleanliness, proper equipping of rooms, and reconsideration of the resort fee—to restore the property’s appeal and truly deliver on the luxury experience they promise.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms that are clean! Prices are good considering your only steps to the beach or the bay depending on which hotel you stay at, they are across the street from one another. We stayed at both, My son fished on the bay right off the dock, about 20ft from the Hotel. Publix grocery store is within walking distance. It was so enjoyable that we stayed an extra night!

Great location right on the beach. There is the option to stay in the bay side building or beach front building. There is easy parking and nice large rooms with full kitchen. Furniture is a bit dated and patio furniture could use an update. Overall, we would stay here again. Front office staff was very helpful and friendly.
