We like everything about this property, the staff was very friendly, Stanley had a smile on his face all the time always happy to help, Shakira at the front desk was very friendly too and the other ladies as well. The quietness, the beach on the back, less than 15mn from the airport...i will definitely stay here again...

The property was in a great location and on one of the most beautiful beach. The bed is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. I don't understand why the room is not being service daily, but using the pandemic for the reason makes no sense.

Little corner of paradise

Really nice and calm place. Enjoyed it. Perfect for my family to chill out. Cottage was great. Well kitted out. AC in lounge was out for a bit but they got it fixed. Very nice staff. Best little corner of the beach. Dickenson bay is good.

Room is nice with a small kitchen and living room. Very comfortable and direct access right to a beautiful beach. No restaurant on property but doesn't matter as it less than 30 seconds away the once you step on the beach that the hotel next door has a restaurant and bar. There are several on the beach. Staff is really friendly place is clean. My only complaint is no coffee maker in the room.

We absolutely adore Buccaneer and come back every year. This adorable boutique hotel is perfect for those who don’t need an all inclusive experience. The rooms are so spacious and lovely, the staff is exceptional and the beach is one of the best on the island. There’s a small restaurant next to it that you can get drinks and sit on their beach chairs. It’s private and it’s special. A little respite. We always got the beginning of June so it’s off season. A perfect little vacation without the crowds. Cannot recommend it enough!

Absolutely fabulous place that exceeded my expectations! Apartment was great size ,lovely and clean. Pool was great and warm surrounded by trees. Staff cleaning around the property all the time. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days. Awesome beach just steps away with sun loungers kept for the guests only. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This was our second time at the Buccaneer. We love the rooms, they are super big and comfortable. They installed windows, which we were thrilled about, as they only had shutters. The grounds are perfect with beautiful flowers all around. And it’s on the beach. However, I’m not sure if we’ll be staying here again. Unfortunately, and not Buccaneers fault, but next door hotel had a sewer leak. As you can imagine, it smelled really bad. We couldn’t be outside our room. We really enjoy sitting on the balcony at nights and we weren’t able to. The smell got worse after night 2 or 3. I called to see if they were doing anything about it. The receptionist’s first response was “what smell?” Any human would gag outside so this was just plain dumb. They offered to move us to another room, not much away from the sewer leak. I didn’t want to pack and unpack at this point especially since we might still be smelling it. I understand it wasn’t on their property. But this is unacceptable. Please call and make sure the sewer issue is fixed before going there. I wish they told us about it when we arrived and gave us a room much further away from the sewer leak. We did ask for that specific room but would’ve moved. Most of the hotel was empty, it wasn’t a big lift. They should’ve tried to look out for the 2-3 couples there. Instead of putting everyone next to the sewer. Especially repeat customers. I’m currently looking at other properties for our next visit.

Close to the airport, hotel is clean, staff is friendly. It’s not an easy walk to get to a grocery store and other dining options. Stores and restaurants require a cab. Even thought it’s a 5-10 min drive, it can be $20-30 USD. Despite this, it’s worth a stay on a private beach.

Our second stay at these lovely apartments. Again a faultless time. The pool area and gardens are immaculately maintained and it is steps to the beautiful beach. The apartments are spotlessly clean with everything you require. The bed is comfortably. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We will return.
