Fantastic suite. Clean, well equipped with great amenities, very spacious. Loved the tribute to Ray Charles, the location, beds, balcony, elevator and parking. Will definitely stay here again when making a trip back.

Great location and large space with easy parking

We were there for a wedding and some of the other families grabbed the upper and lower floors - which made it easy to hang out. Big space and good location. Would come back again to stay here

Great space

The Ray is a great space for groups. It is very centrally located and everything is very walkable nearby. We had everything we needed and would definitely return again!

Great location! Bigger than we thought!

We had a great experience staying at this condo. Everything was clean and the walking distance to St George Street was only a few minutes! That can't be beat! We will definitely use this condo the next time we stay in St Augustine!

This place was very clean and specious. It was perfect for our family of 5. We really loved the walk ability to downtown. There were lots of homes boarded up and or under renovations around it which was a bit concerning when we got there but we did not have a safety issue. The kitchen was not stocked with coffee filters, salt and pepper etc. No big deal, we made due but just so others are aware. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

Love The Ray

We’ve now stayed on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor. 2nd floor is such a nice size. Feels so spacious. Comfortable beds. Walk in closet is so nice for longer stays with more “stuff” . Everything we needed really. Loved the short walk to The Lightner where the wedding events were held.

Walking Distance to downtown

This property was very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed and was in walking distance to alot of cool places. Parking was awesome. We did not have to pay extra for this. The host was very responsive and kept us informed. Highly Recommend!

Stayed here for concert at Francis field. Short walk to downtown and only 15min walk to the field. We want to come back and stay here again

This is the second time that we have stayed at The Ray 2nd Floor. The property is always extremely clean and the property managers provide excellent communication and information. We are always satisfied with this rental property and will continue to book, as long as it’s available.

Review of The Ray

The property was exactly as advertised and very well located. It suited my family’s needs perfectly. It also had two parking spaces which is rare. Iwould not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The property managers communicated very well. There are ways to "Word" descriptions that may disguise the overall aesthetics of the rental. The neighborhood the unit is in seems to be going through a transformation and it should be noted that security coconscious renters may want to take additional precautions. Important to note is that we found the master bedroom bed so uncomfortable we did not spend a second night in the unit and even moved out onto the couch. Also note, the third bed bunks are only suitable for young children.

We have stayed at “the ray” a few times before and found that it fits very well with our desires. It is open and spacious. We generally likethe location and, obviously would have no issues staying there again.

Fun Famiy Getaway with Georgia on our Mind!

This was an excellent location for us to celebrate my grandson’s 8th birthday. Our party of six had ample space. The condo was immaculate and we had everything we needed. The owners communicated before, during, and after our stay. As a bonus the owners provided Ray Charles albums for us to enjoy. I would definitely stay at this location again!

Great house, neighborhood wasn’t ideal

Great home and great layout, fun history behind it. The neighborhood was very very rough. Did not feel safe walking at night.

The Ray delivers

had a delightful weekend at the Ray's gorgeous 2nd floor 3 bedroom apartment. We loved the stage in the corner of the Living Room and the Victrola and selection of Ray Charles records! Close enough to walk to many attractions, including the Lightner Museum, as well of great food! The unit was very clean and tidy...with an elevator right int the place! We WILL be back.

Sister trip

There were six of us sisters coming from four different states!!! We loved the Ray !!! And it was beautifully decorated,beds were comfortable. The only issue we did have was the check in time and of course was no fault of Danny and team. We really didn’t want to park in public parking and leave all of our belongings and possibly someone breaking the window…it would be nice to have been able to just park and then walk to town and come back to check in after 4pm

The Condo itself was awesome. The Area it is located in is a little sketchy. I do see that they have remedied the issue of not having any pictures of the building so that people know what they are looking for when they arrive. (especially at night as there are not street lights)

Lovely St Augustine

Spacious, spotless and ideally situated for leaving the car parked at the apartment and walking around the city. The apartment has a rich history of music and culture in that Ray Charles played there. The immediate surrounding area is being rejuventated and bringing back buildings to there original state. People we me around the area were friendly and helpful. Communication with the host was excellent and responsewas prompt.
