The property was comfortable, clean and very well located. The location was very close Diocletian’s Palace. The host provided clear instructions for check-in and recommendations for parking which was appreciated.
The only complaint that I have is that we could not get in touch with the host until one day before our arrival. I never received a confirmation from the host. I had messaged several times on Expedia.com and even had Expedia try to contact them. Eventually, I found their number on a different platform and WhatsApped them. They responded immediately and were very responsive from that point on. Apparently it’s a known glitch as they actually list the property on a different site and that site crosslists to Expedia. In any case, they do not see any messages from the Expedia platform. I feel that this needs to be explained in the description as it is extremely inconvenient and frustrating. We paid in advance and had no way of knowing if we actually had accommodation. I very nearly cancelled this and rebooked something else because of it. If you book through Expedia, you need to be aware of this glitch.
