What a beautiful property!! The room was lovely (we stayed in the Longhouse). The area surrounding the room was gorgeous, and the bed was the best night sleep I've had in weeks! The staff at the front desk was lovely, as was the staff in Dave's Pub. Will definitely be back!!

Outdated.

Very outdated. Carpet was stained and very old. Looked dirty. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom door had a hole in it and there was black mold on the walls, ceiling and wood trim by the tub and on the floor. Outside patio was nice and fireplace was nice. Fridge was bigger than usual hotel fridges. Hot tub in pool area was broken. Restaurant had great service but was overpriced.

When we got there the tv wasnt working. They came themselves to try and couldnt fix it so they gave us a different room with an upgrade with the same price. Very friendly and helpful

Oakwood stay

Service was absolutely terrible. None of the customer service agents knew how to do there job. I was overcharged for my room. The booking manager doesn’t know his job as he was also terrible to deal with. I will never book there again.

The resort is in the great location, huge and beautiful territory. But it seriously requires renovation, building are very old, carpet drinks, pool has dirt around and windows needs cleaning.

For the price, not worth it, and we stayed off Season so the price was much lower. Couldn't imagine paying full price for this, glad it was on sale. The entire building needs to be renovated. It felt as if we were in a cabin, we stayed in the unit next to the pool... pool closes at 9 pm which is far too early. That was also a downside of having a room next to the pool, chlorine smell. Booking the room was confusing as they have many buildings on site and had no clue where our room would be. Carpet throughout... musty smelling, all original At least the bed was comfortable

My check in process was one of the worst hotel check in experiences mainly due to the only customer ahead of me who delayed the check-in to over 40mins due to their problems, I wish management called in another staff to help her and move others checking in or tell us to come back as we missed our birthday dinner reservation, it wasn't a late check in either, only 1.5hrs after check in time. The rounded/bent shower rod was also installed backwards in our bathroom and the shower curtain sticks to you while you shower which was an awkward situation haha

They allowed us to use a card after checkout to use the pool, gym, and beach access. This meant that we had a washroom and place to change after going to the beach, which was fabulous! I am definitely going back to enjoy this serene, beautiful setting. I'll go when the dining room and the adjoining pub are open (as their hours are reduced in September).

Great place to stay close to grand bend beach, just 5 mins walk and has also a private beach, love it, next time, if we plan to go to the Grand bend, will definitely stay at oakwood resort.
