The property is lovely on the outside, but drab and in need of a refresh inside. The room was large, but all 3 light sources were clustered near the door with only 1 of the 3, a table lamp, in the bedroom. There were 4 comfortable chairs and a small table, but with no light any where near any of them we could not read or play a card game. We never saw a human rep in the hotel or outside. A sign indicated a restaurant, but, other than an empty outdoor patio, we saw no evidence of it. This was a very disappointing stay.

No staff on site. Room code didn't work, number to call only went to voice mail. Managed to get someone on the line to remote open our room door. There was no available restaurant or lounge on site. Screaming kids on our floor. No one at checkout to talk to. Room was very nice, but no service to speak of.

Beautiful grounds. The hotel has many rooms, which may be different. Mine was very basic decor and could have benefited from some paint touch ups, but was large, clean contained a fridge with freezer and microwave and was very well priced. Bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and staff were great. There is a restaurant on site although it wasn’t open for breakfast during my stay.
