Our stay at this vacation rental home was excellent! 5 stars! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a ski-week vacation in the Summit County area for a family like ours. We were four adults (parents and grandparents) and three boys (two young teens and a 5-year-old). It is a town house in a private, quiet neighborhood with beautiful views located 1 mile from center Silverthorne. There are fulltime residents in several four-unit buildings who have a HOA. They are vigilant and take care of their neighborhood. They are friendly and helpful. The house is relatively new (or newly remodeled), clean, neat, nicely organized, in good working order and comfortable. The house-book was well organized and informative. A first aid kit and appliance manual are available. The living area is the 2nd floor. Pull out sofa beds are there too. The kitchen, particularly, has quality appliances, well stocked with the utensils, cookware, glasses, mugs, etc., a good coffee maker and toaster oven (very important!). The master and 2nd bedrooms on the third floor are appropriately sized, each with a nice bathroom and comfortable king-sized beds. Closets and drawers are spacious. The laundry is there too. Interestingly, you access the third bedroom from the garage on the ground floor—the teens enjoyed that—through which you pass to access the hot tub. The heated garage is fitted as a game-room, not for cars, and nicely serves as a staging area for storing and gathering your ski stuff, keeping it out of the living areas. Just open the garage door and get it in the car. The art decor was interesting too. A nice touch! The place just felt high quality!! Mountain Vacation Lodging which manages the home was responsive and helpful with our questions and requests. For example, although the hot tub is maintained weekly, after a few uses, the water was low enough that the jets were exposed which then spewed water out of the tub. We reported this to MVL. It was fixed while we skied the next day and with fresh water. Very pleased!
