Wedding Celebration

Very nice accommodations. Beautiful yard and area and Jeff was a very inviting and gracious host. What a great way to spend some in Victoria as we prepared and then celebrated my son's wedding. All good!

Lovely accommodation!

Clean, lots of extra amenities to make one’s stay more comfortable, very friendly and kind hosts. Beautiful park right beside it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

Cozy and Light-filled two bedroom walk- out basement apartment in N, Saanich, Vancouver Island

We absolutely loved our stay at the home of Jeff and Anna. Jeff met us with open arms as we drove onto his beautifully manicured property. After welcoming us, he directed us to the newly outfitted walk-out basement apartment which was light filled and cozy. Two bedrooms plus couch in the living room that can be converted into a bed. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped; washer and drier included. What a nice kitchen it had! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets so soft. The bathroom was in excellent condition. Excellent walking paths right next door. Located on a quiet street between Schwartz Bay ( north) and Victoria to the south. We enjoyed. B the nearby Roost Cafe which served a healthy breakfast and lunch. We can totally recommend Jeff and Anna’s place as a great place to stay when you’re on Vancouver Island. Phoebe Smith

Fantastic Home-away-from-home

This beautifully laid out, comfortable apartment is the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. We started and ended our days enjoying the beautiful view of the grounds and the pond—it was so lovely, we never found time to watch movies on the large yet unobtrusive TV. Cooking homemade meals in the fully-equipped kitchen was easy and fun. Great location, great owners AAA+++

Comfortable Stay

We were in town for a wedding in the area. The property is lovely and well cared for. The suite was spacious and quiet. It was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to inquiries and as they live on the main floor, they were available to greet us when we arrived and wave goodbye to us when we left. We didn't spend a lot of time in the suite, but it was an enjoyable stay.

A Lovely Visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cuffe residence. It was close to Sidney and to the Vancouver ferry terminal. We also found many great bakeries close by! We also enjoyed getting to visit with Jeff in the mornings. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Efficient and comfortable

The space was perfect for our needs. It’s very clean and comfortable. It worked well for my son who uses a wheelchair but it would not work for a wheelchair user who does not have a companion to reach some of the kitchen items stored on high shelves. Our host was very helpful and easy to reach. Thank you! We enjoyed it!

Girls trip!

A friend and I stayed here on our girls trip to Victoria. Jeff and Anna were wonderful hosts. Their unit is clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We will come back to stay next time. Would recommend to everyone.

Wonderful getaway

We enjoyed Jeff’s apartment so much. The walkout lower level unit was cool, cozy and close to everything. We are bikers and were able To access the trails easily from his place. We ate outside a couple times and used the BBQ. The yard is lovely and private. Would definitely come again.

Right next door to Dominion Brook Park, a wonderful place to relax. The unit looks out to a pond and fountain and trees and garden. Well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Friendly host.

Lovely surrounding area. Close to everything we needed. Host was very kind and on site if needed. Comfort of beds could be better. Everyone’s taste is different though so maybe ok for others. Extra blankets would be nice. The one they had smelled so bad I had to wash it. Could also be cleaner in general. The refrigerator had remnants of previous guests. Well stocked with supplies. We used the laundry and new gloves and sponge for dishes. Nice touch. I didn’t realize he charged per guest. We had another person come along after I booked the property and then was charged an additional fee after we left. There are pros and cons to every property. I still think this may be the right fit for most and would recommend.

North Saanich stay

We enjoyed the beautiful yard with it’s spacious lawn and lovely gardens. The suite was comfortable with plenty of amenities and the host was friendly. However, our first impression as we walked in wasn’t good, as there is a dampness issue in the suite. Because the weather was warm, opening the windows helped alleviate the problem. A dehumidifier in the suite would probably be a solution.”

Everything we needed and more

We really enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The home was in a very quiet neighborhood and backed onto a peaceful park and small lake. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfortable and Jeff and Anna were available if we had any questions. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Relaxing and peaceful vacation home away from the city .

We were delighted when we arrived to see how spacious and clean this vacation home is. As we settled in for our 8 day stay, we also quickly appreciated how very well equipped and comfortable everything in this home is. The king and queen beds were possibly the best we have slept on when on vacation.. We enjoyed the peace of the large patio and garden, spending part of each day there. Jeff and Anna are very warm and helpful hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. The day we left, Jeff even washed our car clean of all the ash that had blown over from the wildfires on the mainland. This is an ideal location for visiting Butchart Gardens, Victoria and many other local attractions. We certainly hope to make this our vacation home again the next time we visit Sidney.
