Spacious family home on one level in the heart of Natural Regional Park

We wish you very warm welcome to our lovely family home set in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park. Use our house as a base from which to explore the beautiful department of the Lot with it's rich architectural heritage, it's caves and rivers, it's stunning villages or to enjoy the fantastic wines and gastronomy.
Or just relax and take it easy, enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful wooded walks in the immediate vicinity.
Need to work from home ? We welcome longer term rentals, anything from 3 days to 3 months !

About your hosts, Kim and John.
We are an English family that have lived in this lovely village for 35 years, fluent in both French and English. We are now retired and spending more time visiting our family and travelling.
If you have any special requests/needs, please let us know.

You will have exclusive use of the main part of this stone fronted house which is on one level so provides easy access to those with limited mobility. No steps or stairs !
We retain the use of a downstairs studio and cellar, which will not impinge on your privacy. If we are not present to respond to any queries you may have, our daughter lives at the other end of the village and will be happy to help.

Your accommodation consists of
Voluminous well-equipped kitchen/diner/living room with excellent cooking and eating facilities, table for 6, double leather sofa/recliner and comfortable armchair and chimney insert.
Second lounge/ TV room, with DVD player and selection of videos and toys. Double sofa bed and two comfortable armchairs, one of which is a recliner.
Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables. Window with mosquito net.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table. Linen cupboard. 2 windows, 1 with mosquito net.
Large bathroom with walk-in shower, corner bath, toilet, washbasin with lighted .mirror, shaving plug.
2nd seperate toilet with hand washbasin.

Workstation with desk, good fibre connection to the internet + WIFI, large selction of children's and books and family games.
Under floor heating, plus stylish modern chimney with insert.
A large selection of books, DVDs, games and toys are available for your enjoyment.Our books and DVDs are mainly in English.

Beautiful bespoke mosaic terrace with table and chairs, with covered porch area running the length of the kitchen. Perfect for al fresco aperitifs, or just watching/listening to the birds who visit the garden and the surrounding woodland.
Parking next to the house.
Use of the unfenced garden (1500m2)

Well-behaved dogs and cats welcome by prior agreement.
We respectfully request 'No Smoking' inside the house.
Please note there is no dishwasher. The washing machine is downstairs, access can be arranged.
