What can I say besides awesome! First are the views, they speak for themselves. And to get closer to those views you are a short walk away from the Teapot trailhead that we took advantage of. I was easily able to communicate with Donna a few times on our stay. She was quick to respond and extremely helpful. The property itself was well stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. Coffee on the deck with sunrise over the mountain was a great start to each day. The spaces were clean and very comfortable. Enough so my wife is committed to the purchase of new bath towels. When we make another trip to Sedona, Donna’s property will be the first place we try to book.

Outstanding home on the perfect location. Close to restaurants, shopping and golf. Beautiful backyard perfect for grilling and sitting by the firepit. Donna was extremely helpful before, during and after our stay.

The Dahl House was clean and welcoming. It was a great “hub” for our visit to Sedona. We recommend Chef Dahl’s Mariposa and Dahl and DiLuca restaurants for fine dining.

We loved it here

This older, thoughtfully remodeled and decorated home is in a good neighborhood. We really enjoyed our time here. The home is spacious, bright and so clean. It’s lovely to sit in the backyard or see the stunning landscape from the living room. Everything we needed was right nearby: restaurants, sights and hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Woodruff - The Dahl House May 2025

The home is very nice. There were concerns with the "patio" screen door it wouldn't close because it needed minor adjustments, so we had to leave the doorway completely open for several hours each day. The master bedroom had a back door to the deck, but it wouldn't open which needed a handyman attention. I emailed the Management company but never received a call back. The home is owned by Lisa Dahl which owns several local restaurants and one of the benefits in renting Her home you get VIP treatment and gift card to be used at any Dahl locations. Whereas we elected ("Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill") but it took 15 emails and several calls into reservation before we received confirmation. The place/food/service 5 stars... Lisa herself came by our table and chatted she was so friendly. Note: Pickle Ball courts are 3 blocks from the home.

Disappointed

We felt the picture on the VBRO listing was misleading. The only way to get the view listed was to stand in the driveway. Looking out the living room window the view is overgrown with bushes/trees. The front deck has loose boards on it. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable for adults in our 60’s. Carpeting has quite a few stains on it. Thankfully the Beds were great. We werent able to use the hift card because the places we wanted to go to were always too busy snd they didn’t take reservations.

Relax in a Beautiful Home

This beautiful home--super clean, well appointed, quiet and convenient location--was a great choice for our party of 4 adults. Communication with hosts was thorough and speedy. We appreciated the gift card to Dahl restaurants (and enjoyed delicious meals at Butterfly Burger and Pisa Lisa). Great view off front deck and lovely back yard with gas fire table. Guests in suite below were friendly and unobtrusive.

Great stay

The house was everything we wanted. Great location, close to everything. House was very roomy and comfortable. Would love to have had a fan above the bed in the bedroom; and sheets were not very soft, but the bed was comfortable. Owner should consider getting a large ottoman for the living room. I wish my kitchen was as nice as this one. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Home

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything is in great condition and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools you need to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable and best of all, the views are amazing!

Excellent House

Everything was wonderful. The weather was not good and it was nice to come back to the house and just hang out, perfect atmosphere for that.Couple of suggestions. Measuring spoon and a measuring cup would be helpful. And, the two staying in the master mentioned a slow leak of the shower head. just in case it runs up the water bill.Other than that, will most likely will book again.

Perfect location!

This was a perfect location for us. We walked about 5 minutes to play pickleball. It was a short drive to several of our favorite trails . The home itself was so comfortable and clean. The gift card was a nice touch as well. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Fantastic pace

This met all expectations, very clean and everything we needed, Of course we would not expect less from Lisa as we enjoy her restaurants as they are the best. Everyone will enjoy. The only concern was the communications leading up to the stay as VRBO would not allow phone or text. But with a little work around it all came through.

Absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful view, so clean, comfortable king size beds with each bedroom having their own bathroom. The fireplace was so nice and the hist was so easy to communicate with. Oh, and by the way, Lisa’s restaurants are incredible! Make sure you eat at any one of her restaurants.

Great house and location for enjoying Sedona! We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Hiking trails and a great local park are all within walking distance from the house. The home is well maintained. We definitely recommend!

What a great way to spend time in Sedona! Lovely home and well appointed. Location was perfect being close to grocery and restaurants and hiking trails. A short jaunt to Tlaquepaque to visit the wonderful artisan shops made it a complete stay. We shall be back!
