We had a fantastic stay at the Beach House Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, plenty of options. We had an evening meal here which I would recommend, it was really nice. Location is ideal, you can walk to Seahouses centre / harbour - no stress of trying to get parked in the centre.

A three day visit on our trip from Scotland home. A very pleasant hotel with excellent accommodation, a restaurant offering excellent food and a pleasant bar area. The hotel was in a very good position overlooking the sea and a short walk into the centre of Seahouses. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and recommending the Beach House Hotel.

Very comfortable for a short stop over

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, particularly in helping us get luggage upstairs as there were no ground floor rooms.The food was well prepared and very tasty. The room was immaculately clean. The only slight draw back was the slight lack of space meaning there was only one chair for two people.

Clean modern hotel overlooking the cliffs and out to the Farne islands. 5 minutes walk into Seahouses. Pleasant bar and dining area with views. Tuesday they had good value steak menu for 2 with bottle of wine One point off as shower jammed in v hot; they said would be fixed Easy parking

The hotel was in a good area, we enjoyed making the most of the spa option by going to the ocean club. Room was lovely and check in, breakfast staff and bar staff were great. Not going for 5 stars for couple of reasons. Firstly, the evening meal wasn’t great. Only one vegetarian option, no specials (as stated on menu) & no-one checked if food was okay when eating and when taking plates away (even though half the main was left). Then on check out, the bill had extra service charges added for bar and food but they come up as the same as the food/drinks in terms of appearance on the bill (so unless you look carefully you’d presume it’s part of what you had). I’m all for tipping good service, it just felt like a very underhand way of doing it.

Modern hotel in a great location

The location of the hotel is very good, opposite the beach with great views, and only a short walk from the town and harbour. It's modern, well decorated and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and we both had the homemade steak pie, which was delicious. This came with cabbage, mashed potato and gravy and was the only dish on the menu that had a vegetable with it as standard (that's why I chose it). I think that other dishes should come with at least one vegetable to give diners more choice. The drinks are expensive but are the same as every other hotel. The room was fairly small but was adequate for our 2 night stay and there was nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom. The shower was lovely and the complimentary toiletries are very good. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again if we were in the area.

The staff are wonderful, kind and very helpful. The constant loud music in the dining and lounge areas are distracting and unpleasant. The food is disappointing and pricey. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would eat out unless the menu was updated and the standard greatly improved.

A very useful stop for my trip

Was there as I had a cricket game at Bamburgh castle up the road was a useful stay and very close to the town of Seahouses also the restaurant offerings were very good indeed

Room overlooked the sea, room was small but was ok, nice and warm too, had problem with shower as leaked, restaurant food was great and the staff, nice views in the lounge too where we relaxed with a nightcap
