Convenience was a big plus-point, as it is located very close to the main harbour from which the boat trips depart, it is just a short walk into town, opposite two pubs and has its own parking spot. The house was very spacious and had everything that we needed, and was good value-for-money.It is on the Northumberland Coastal Path, and we did two linear coastal walks by taking the bus to Budle Bay (north) and to Craster Harbour (south) then walking back. (Both have pubs & castles en route, and one has the Grace Darling memorial.)Our boat trip included an hour on Inner Farne which was amazing, with puffins, razorbills etc aplenty. We also drove to Lindisfarne followed by Berwick-Upon-Tweed.Plenty to occupy us during what was a fantastic 5-night stay!
