Great place

We arrived late so unfortunately didn’t get to experience the food but the bar and restaurant was lovely and we only wish we could have spent more time here. The decor is amazing. Rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very helpful.

Seaton Lane Inn, twin room

The Seaton Lane Hotel was good. We arrived on a Sunday and staff were busy serving Sunday lunch. We were 20 minutes early and was asked to wait. I ordered a coffee, paid for it but had to ask again as staff member had forgot. The young guy serving breakfast was great Monday morning. Good customer service acknowledged you and guided how to order breakfast. The room was clean tidy and the bathroom the same. Both myself and my daughter found the beds confortable but the winter duvet too hot. I tried to lie on top of the duvet and got too cold. A summer weight duvet would make a big difference

Football weekend

A weekend away with football. We arrived early to drop our bags knowing we were too early to check in. Eventually paid an extra £25 to get the room early. Food was good, bar area lovely and breakfast was first class.

We stayed here for a wedding at dalton old pump house. Not far from the place easy by taxi £20. Room was clean lovely and a massive bed. Bathroom was small but everything you need. Breakfast was lovely and staff helpful too.

The property was a convenient distance from Seaham and has onsite parking, though a bit tight on entry when busy. It has a relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly and laid back. Our room wasnt ready on arrival so we had an unexpected wait, but we just had a drink in the pleasant outside area whilst we waited. Rooms were separate from the pub/restaurant but also accessible via internal door. Food was average, portions on the small side, not the best value for money. Overall, a pleasant stay with all we needed for an overnight stop off.
