Escape to a peaceful woodland retreat just minutes from the best of Saugatuck. Tucked among the trees and only a 3–5 minute walk from the quiet shoreline of private-access, no-wake Goshorn Lake, this cabin offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Swim, kayak, or fish in the calm waters, then head into town—just a 5-minute drive, 10-minute bike ride, or a scenic 30-minute walk along the bike path to downtown Saugatuck.

Spend your days exploring the area’s vibrant restaurants, live music, galleries, and unique local shops. You’re also just 10 minutes from Oval Beach—consistently rated one of the best beaches in the Midwest—and Saugatuck Dunes State Park, where miles of trails wind through forests and dunes. For a memorable outing, take a paddle-steamer cruise into Lake Michigan or rent a kayak to explore the tranquil Kalamazoo River.

After a day of adventure, return to your cozy cabin in the woods. Relax in the hot tub in the screened porch, grill dinner outside, and gather around the fire pit for marshmallows under the stars. On cooler evenings, unwind in the open living room beside the wood-burning fireplace. It’s the perfect getaway in every season.

The home’s thoughtful layout makes it ideal for families or groups of friends. Upstairs you’ll find three bedrooms and a full bathroom, while the main level features an additional bedroom and full bathroom for easy accessibility.

Amenities include:
• Parking for 3 vehicles
• Fully equipped kitchen with cookware
• Large dining table for group meals
• Hot tub in Screened porch and 2nd covered porch with table and chairs
• Gas grill and fire pit
• Wood-burning fireplace
• Fast Wi-Fi and TV

Guests also enjoy access to the shared Goshorn Lake swimming beach and oversized dock with a swim ladder. The lake is typically quieter and warmer than Lake Michigan—perfect for relaxing swims. Bring your own kayaks or rent them locally to explore the peaceful lake.

Whether you’re here for beach days, dune hikes, or cozy nights by the fire, this cabin is the perfect base for your Saugatuck escape.

We had a great stay and were very happy with the property. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Communication was smooth, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would happily stay here again. Our only suggestion would be regarding the cleaning fee. Given the amount of checkout tasks we were asked to complete (stripping the beds, starting the laundry, taking out the trash, and running the dishwasher) we felt the cleaning fee was higher than expected, especially compared to other Vrbo properties we've stayed at. Lowering the cleaning fee or reducing the checkout requirements would make the overall value even better.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future.

This cabin is special, our family enjoyed our stay. It’s only a hop skip and a jumpto Saugatuck and Douglas. We loved hanging out by the fire and he wood cabin vibe. We will be back.
