I stayed 5 nights at Hotel JoAn. The first thing I should say is that the girls at the reception are very kind and helpful. The room was a bit different than expected. I paid for a room with a king size bed, and was given a queen. The couch was defective because you could feel the springs if you sat on it, and was sort of caved in in one spot (but not visible to the eye- only once you sit). My room was directly next to a bar that played very loud music 4 out of the 5 nights, so I didn’t sleep well at all, even with ear plugs. I was surprised to discover that the balcony was half facing the street and bar, with a slight view of the ocean. It wasn’t ideal for sitting out there. Positives - they wound up including parking and breakfast, which somewhat compensated for not getting what I expected of the room. I really appreciated that gesture. The hotel is extremely clean, and all of the staff are very kind. It’s located in a very busy area, which makes it easy to walk to everything, but very difficult to get peace and quiet. I do believe it is overpriced, but I really appreciate their efforts to make their guests happy.

The perfect hotel and location in Sarande

I was honestly so happy staying here during my trip to Sarande. It was perfect for me. It was centrally located, kept very well, it had a lovely panoramic ocean view from my balcony, and the service was first class. When I come back to Sarande, I will 100 % stay at this hotel. Perfect little place.

Amazing hotel. Pay the little extra for the sea view. As the balconies are perfect for morning coffee and late night caps. Very good breakfast and very clean. Felt more like a small family run business than a chain. Way above my expectations
