This magnificent comfortable stone clad country house is situated in about 1 kilometre distance to Cala Santanyí, an idyllic bay with a fine sandy beach.
It is an idyllic establishment for cyclists who want to enjoy Mallorca, located in one of the areas with the highest cycling traffic and with several of the best routes on the island.
It also offers space for bicycles with every comfort for cyclists, from hangers with safety cables to professional tools or a pump.
If you want to spend a holiday by the sea and many kilometers by bike, Finca Bassa Seca will enchant you.
The property is set in a huge plot, surrounded with dry stone walls. On the ground floor there is the spacious living/dining room, the fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven/hob and fridge/freezer, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The living/dining room has a doorway opening to the covered dining terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the mature gardens with palm, olive and indigene trees. The BBQ is a bit apart from the terrace.
On the first floor you there are two more more double bedrooms and a bathroom, and the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Hydromassage bathtub and shower. The first floor sun terrace has fabulous views overlooking the mature pine trees towards the sea. In the basement there is another double bedroom with large window and its own bathroom.
The crystal clear swimming pool has large sun terraces comfortably furnished with sun loungers. For added convenience is a poolside shower and an awning affording welcome shade in the summer sun. Up to two cots for children up to two years old are available free of charge. Must be ordered.
Iron gates open into the gravel drive where there is space enough for several cars.
In a short drive of less than 1 kilometre you get to the village Santanyí, a traditional Majorcan town where you will find everything for your daily needs. There are two big supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, bars with live music, exhibitions, and much more. On Wednesdays and Saturdays the popular weekly market takes place. In addition, Santanyí is the ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area or for beach visits. Particularly noteworthy are the beaches of S'Amarador, Cala Mondragó, Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards, as well as the beautiful kilometer-long sandy beach Es Trenc located between Colonia Sant Jordi and Sa Ràpita. Also worth a visit are the two enchanting coastal towns of Cala Figuera and Porto Petro. On excursions you can visit the caves "Cuevas Drach" in Porto Cristo or the saltworks located between Campos and Colònia de Sant Jordi, as well as the convent of Santuari de Sant Salvador at Felanitx, located on a 509 m high mountain, with a fantastic panoramic views over the island.

Lovely Villa
Bass’s Seca gave us everything we were hoping for. The location was perfect, very private but just a short drive to the beach and supermarkets at Santanyi. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A lovely pool and sunbathing area plus the terrace where we enjoyed leisurely meals round the table. We would definitely visit again.

Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war perfekt. Sie sind auf alle Fragen eingegangen und hatten immer eine Lösung.
Die Finca ist sehr gepflegt und war sauber. Außerdem war die Ausstattung sehr gut und modern.
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen!!!

Ein rundum perfekter Urlaub!
Unser Aufenthalt in der Finca "Bassa Secca" war einfach fantastisch und hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Von Anfang an war die Erreichbarkeit von Dagmar und Romy (von der Vermietungsagentur DRAC) vorbildlich, sowohl vor als auch während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts. Die freundliche Kommunikation und die prompten Antworten auf unsere Fragen haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns bestens aufgehoben fühlten.
Bereits vor unserer Anreise erhielten wir ein sehr umfangreiches Informationspaket, das uns dabei half, uns auf unseren Urlaub vorzubereiten und die Vorfreude zu steigern. Als wir dann endlich in der Finca ankamen, wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Die Finca entsprach voll und ganz der Beschreibung und den Fotos, die wir zuvor im Internet gesehen hatten. Das Haus war super sauber, das Grundstück großzügig angelegt und äußerst gepflegt. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight – ebenfalls einwandfrei sauber und sehr gut gepflegt. Eine besondere Atmosphäre brachte die auf unsere Bitte hin programmierte Beleuchtung des Pools in den Abendstunden, welche die „Poolparty“ zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte.
Es fehlte uns wirklich an nichts während unseres Aufenthalts. Alles, was wir benötigten, war in der Finca vorhanden. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Finca "Bassa Secca" rundum perfekt. Wir möchten uns herzlich bei Romy und Dagmar für ihre herausragende Betreuung bedanken!

Top Workation
Wir waren mit mehreren Kollegen für eine Woche in dem Haus.
Durch die vielen Einzelbetten ist die Unterkunft besonders für Nichtpaare gut geeignet.
Es ist genug Platz vorhanden um sich zu verteilen aber auch um Gemeisamkeit zu erleben.
Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben wir nichts vermisst. Es war eine tolle Zeit.

Ein toller und entspannter Urlaub
Wir haben als 9köpfige Familie eine Woche in der Bassa Seca verbracht und haben absolut nichts auszusetzen.
Von Anfang bis Ende verlief alles sehr unkompliziert.
Wir haben lediglich ein paar Probleme mit dem Warmwasser gehabt, aber die Vermietung hat sehr schnell reagiert und sich gekümmert. Die Kommunikation war stets sehr freundlich.
Das Haus ist sogar noch schöner als auf den Bildern.
Die Ausstattung ist top, man braucht nichts mitzunehmen.
Die Geräusche der Tiere (Hähne, Esel) empfanden wir nicht als nervig - es hat einfach zu der Umgebung gepasst. Und sollte sich jemand daran stören, haben wir Oropax mitgenommen.
Das Städtchen Santanyí ist wunderschön und fusslaeufig entfernt.
An der Cala (ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar) waren wir nur ein Mal zum spazieren - das Haus mit dem großen und schönen Pool fanden wir aber viel besser.
Alles in allem war es eine wundervolle Woche!
