Everything broken or dirty
This was our 7th stay in watercolor and easily the worst property we've seen. it would qualify for getting in trouble with the WC HOA. I sent the management company a punch list on the first day of everything that was broken, dirty, required repair (anything you'd expect to not have to deal with after spending 12K on a rental). They only came and removed the broken desk chair (no replacement), replaced one light bulb (of many), they taped down a rug in one bedroom that was a tripping hazard, and they painted over some mold on the master bath ceiling (but left all other ceiling mold vividly exposed). The cleaning crew did the worst job we have seen- recleaned a lot on our own such as showers and floors. Furniture was stained and had not been cleaned in a while. Lots of paint needed, cheaply made cabinets, doors and window coverings were broken or needing updating, electric stove with no visible numbers or temperature readings.
Also, the management company represented our stay came with a beach chair set up, but they conveniently flip-flopped and said our home didn't qualify for the complimentary chairs when we arrived (after sending us an email stating that it did). i attempted to negotiate even a few days (like 5 out of 14) we'd accept the complimentary chairs, but they doubled-down despite what they told us in writing.
I did like the layout of the house, and the golf cart. It's clearly owned by investors, it's not some family's vacation home. Management should take note.
