El Sendero Inn is an affordable option for lodging near the Santa Fe Plaza. The rooms are spacious and clean and the area is quiet. The staff went above and beyond, assisting with carrying luggage and offering suggestions for local restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques.

Appreciated getting a lower level room this stay, since getting bags up second floor stairs has been difficult for us in the past. The bathrooms definitely need an update to include a vanity or somewhere to put toiletries down. In all the room was adequate, clean, and close to the Santa Fe square.

it is a hotel that gives you an expectation that they care about their guests who may have allergies because they don’t allow pets and they don’t allow smoking, but they use all the strongest chemical odors that you can imagine with their cleaning so, when you normally go to a hotel that has a lot of smoking and bad odors and they use that heavy chemical cleaning solution and they use it there and the second you walk into your room it hits you big and strong and doesn’t go away!!! It makes you wonder what odors are they trying to cover up there?!? I had zero sleep, it made me feel sick. My eyes were so puffy. I could barely open them and it smelled horrendous! I kept the front door open to air it out. I had the bathroom window open the whole time and that didn’t do much of anything. I also bought an air purifier which didn’t do much! They refused to provide any refunds or assistance! When they offered me to check out of the rooms, I caught them in the act of giving in the room away without me having the option to check it out to see if it was as bad as my room! They had nothing to say they just stand there and listen and don’t budge and don’t do anything! That is terrible customer service and they didn’t care and they didn’t apologize for how disgusting the room smelled, and how bad the chemicals affected me! If you have any issues with strong chemical smells and cleaning solutions that will make you feel sick then I highly recommend you do not go there and don’t expect them

El Sendero is in a very good location, walkable to a lot of places you want to see in Santa Fe. No breakfast is offered in this hotel. We had to get breakfast in a restaurant adjacent to the hotel and it's just okay. Staff are friendly and room is comfortable and clean.

The hotel is lovely, the room is comfortable and good size. The location is outstanding. There is one odd unfortunate quirk. There is no counter space at the sink. The counter is located outside of the main bath area which is very inconvenient: Brush your teeth, go out to get your shaver, shave, go out to get your deodorant, use that go out to get your hair brush. A bit of a pain, but that aside everything else was great.

Excellent stay

The room was clean and fairly spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Nice water pressure in the shower and an actual working window in the bathroom to let some fresh air in. Loved the location and its proximity to the plaza. Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean, not vacuumed every day. But, we never had a dry towel every day we had damp towels we said something the first day, but it didn’t help. There was no coffee cups some of the days and they never give you any water except for the first day. They also forgot toilet paper a couple of days for the prize that we paid, we felt there should’ve been more basic things like water and dry towels

This place was probably our favorite in our southwest vacation. The room was lovely--very spacious, comfortable and within walking distance of a beautiful area full of unique shopping and dining options. the host provided personal attention to us as he showed us the room and its features. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Sedona.
