Coyote South offers handmade breakfast burritos with green chilies for breakfast! Like, you can watch someone stand there cooking sausage and spinach then rolling super fat, perfect burritos. The decor is lovely and connected with MeowWolf. There are no microwaves in the rooms but there is a shared one in the lobby that I had no problems accessing. Same with ice machines. You check yourself in/out electronically at th front desk but there was always someone friendly there to answer questions and offer suggestions. The laundry room only had 2 washers and 2 dryers. We only had one load so it was no big deal. My friend is already planning our next stay at Coyote South so I'd say she liked it, too.

Staff was really cool, breakfast was nice. The only negative was the 10 dollar a night “experience fee” that covered breakfast and the shuttle. I never used the shuttle. It’s not a huge fee, but it would have been nice to know about when I booked it. I only found out when I arrived. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was very disappointing. There wasn’t a single fruit option, no bread, and no eggs. A large sign advertised breakfast burritos (2 per person), but when we arrived just 10 minutes after breakfast opened, we were told they had no eggs, potatoes, or vegetables to make them. The fresh salsas were all displayed, but without burritos they were useless. When I mentioned all of this to reception at checkout, the only response I received was, “I am very sorry.” Several other guests were also clearly disappointed with the breakfast situation. Overall, the lack of basic breakfast items and the unhelpful response at checkout really affected what could have been a pleasant stay.
