La Petite Munyon | Lessons in Language & Wine
La Petite Munyon is a beautifully renovated cottage in the heart of historic Sancerre, steps from wineries, restaurants, and the language school. Sleeping up to four guests, it features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a cozy living area with fireplace. Enjoy a private south-facing walled garden, sunny terrace, secure parking, and a traditional wine cave. "The little place" is a perfect base for exploring the vineyards, culture, and charm of the Loire Valley.
Designed for four guests, the house is both spacious and inviting. It features a comfortable queen bedroom, a twin bedroom with an additional trundle bed (plus a Pack 'n Play), an American-style bathroom, and an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and combination oven/microwave, while Wi-Fi, television, a washing machine, linens, and cooking essentials are all provided. In cooler months, radiant heat and a wood-burning fireplace create a warm retreat after a day of exploring.
One of the home's most unique features is its private, south-facing walled garden—a rare oasis in the heart of Sancerre. Enjoy your morning coffee on the sunny terrace, sip a glass of local Sancerre beneath the apple tree, or dine al fresco in the peaceful garden. The gated courtyard also offers secure private parking, a coveted convenience in the village.
A traditional stone cave provides additional storage for bicycles, luggage, or a few bottles of Sancerre to bring home after your stay.
The property is yours in its entirety. You'll have access to parking, the interior, the terrace, and cellar (should you need additional storage). From the front gate, there is a small shared pathway with a neighbor, however, the outdoor spaces are yours to enjoy!
There is a lockbox at the front door. We'll provide you the number as your trip gets closer!
