This stay was smooth, chill and close to the river and restaurants. Check in and check out were easy. The first night we had a cold front come in and it was cold - (to a Texas standard anything under 70 degrees). However, there was extra blankets around to mitigate. The host immediately got someone out to help get the heater back on the next day. The huge back porch is so wonderful to hang out on and overall was a good indoor outdoor space. This is an old school bungalow and it was great too see that it was renovated while keeping its old charm, it is drafty but that is okay everything else makes it a wonderful place for a family to be at. It is great for toddler kids, the back is fully fenced in, toys and a crib are available. I recommend walking down to either the metal bridge or the stepping stone bridge to get to blue star. I also liked that the TV actually had apps installed and actual tv channels, generally most rentals give you a tv and you end up not being able to use it.
