The "Retour aux Sources" gîte, located in the heart of the charming village of Saint Nicolas des Biefs, offers a peaceful getaway in the Bourbonnais mountains. Come disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature in this enchanting setting. In summer or winter, with friends or family, you'll have a wide range of activities: hiking from the gîte on the many marked trails, discovering the local flora and fauna, swimming and water sports at the Saint Clément lake, 11 km away, cultural visits, and local crafts.
A second adjoining gîte for 4 to 6 people will soon be available. Convenient if you want to share your experience and get together!

Please note: Some renovation work is planned from August 25 to December 2025 for the village grocery store, which may cause some noise during the day or limit parking at certain times.

Ground floor: Access via a wooden terrace to the front door. Kitchen open to the dining room, reading corner, bathroom (shower and toilet) with washing machine.
1st floor: 1 double bedroom (160 x 200 cm bed), living room.
2nd floor: 2 double bedrooms (one with a 140 x 190 cm bed, facing the staircase, and the other with a 160 x 200 cm bed).
Electric heating in the bedrooms, bathroom, and living room, pellet stove in the kitchen/dining room.

This cottage, located in the center of the village, does not have an outdoor area. However, the nature and nearby spaces will delight you. The plancha grill and garden furniture are stored under cover from mid-October to mid-April.

Gite amenities: sheets provided (beds not made), towels, end-of-stay cleaning, electric heating and electricity included.
