This former barn, adjacent to the owners’ home and part of a historic farmstead, has been fully restored but remains a separate structure. Its beautiful eco-friendly pool and lush grounds offer a magnificent view of the fields and the Périgord forest. It’s the ideal place for a vacation with family or friends—to recharge, explore nature (hiking, mountain biking, flora, fauna…), gastronomy (markets, local producers…), and history (caves, castles, listed villages…) of the Périgord Vert.

We had a really lovely stay. Cathy was a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming. The welcome gifts were fantastic, thank you Cathy! The house was amazing and a particular highlight was the terrace. Would definitely recommend to larger groups.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend

Beautiful Rural Retreat

Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!

Exceptional property

The property far exceeded our expections.There was nothing we could fault.Host Cathy was extremely welcoming and helpful. Description of the property did not do it justice. Would definitely recommend to either a group of friends or a large family.

Le gite est au calme, bien équipé, très propre et conforme au descriptif.Les pièces à vivre sont grandes, la literie est très confortable, la terrasse et la piscine sont très agréables et la vue est belle. Tout est TOP !!Cathy et son mari sont très accueillants, réactifs et attentionnés.Tout était parfait et nous avons passé un très agréable séjour entre amis.Je recommande vivement.

La Maison du Bonheur is een ruim, mooi afgewerkt en prachtig gelegen huis met alle voorzieningen die we konden wensen. Niet alleen heeft elke slaapkamer haar eigen badkamer, er is ook nog een apart toilet naast de woonkamer. Zowel de woonkamer als het terras zijn voorzien van een grote tafel, die ruim plaats bood aan onze familie van 10. De ruime keuken was uitgerust met alle nodige keukengerei. Een lounge naast het mooie zwembad was een ideale plaats om te verpozen. De uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer en gastvrouw wonen naast het huis, maar je merkt haast niet dat ze er zijn (al zijn ze er wel als je ze nodig hebt). Kortom: we konden ons geen beter verblijf wensen.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre court séjour dans la Maison du Bonheur.Suite à l'accueil chaleureux de Cathy et à la gentillesse manifestée par sa fille, la maison vaste (plus spacieuse que nous l'avions imaginée pour notre famille nombreuse) lumineuse et très agréable, nous a immédiatement séduits.Un joli cadeau de bienvenue de produits locaux de qualité nous a été offert.Après une conversation très intéressante avec Cathy sur l'histoire de sa maison et les conseils qu'elle nous a donnés pour la visite des environs, nous avons investi les lieux avec plaisir. Cathy s'est montrée attentive, souriante et ouverte à nos demandes.Malgré une météo peu favorable, nous garderons de ce séjour un excellent souvenir.Nous recommandons vivement cette location de vacances agréable à vivre et qui offre une vue superbe sur un paysage ouvert.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison du bonheur. Cathy nous a très bien accueilli, la maison est vraiment superbe et spacieuse pour accueillir notre groupe de 11 personnes. Excellente literie, cadre magnifique, tout le monde était ravi. La présentation des ruches a enchanté petits et grands. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Week-end exceptionnel

On a passé un super week-end entre mais dans cette magnifique maison toute équipée et très confortable. On est au calme au milieu de la nature c est magnifique. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et adorables, on a pu découvrir les ruches d olivier les petits et les grands étaient ravis On y reviendra !!!

Séjour excellent. La maison est vaste et de grand confort. Les espaces communs importants permettent une grande convivialité. La multiplicité des salles d’eau est très agréable. Cuisine vaste et très bien équipée. L’accueil de la propriétaire est excellent. Location à recommander.
