Chalet Carter is an OVO Network property. A newly-renovated five-bedroom, three-bathroom chalet for 11 (max 10 adults) spread over four floors and 198m2 of floor space.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

The decor is bright, colourful and contemporary, and the gorgeous second lounge / TV room is a particular favourite with our team.

The main lounge overlooks the huge side terrace and the views down the Thônes valley beyond. The second lounge / TV room means everyone can get their TV / gaming fix. Larger groups can spread out according to what they want to do - play or watch!

Bedrooms are super stylish, with plenty of storage, very comfy beds, reading lights and phone charging points next to the beds.

Sporty guests will appreciate the direct access to the ski storage from the parking, meaning wet sports kit can be offloaded downstairs as soon as they arrive back home. Outside, the panoramic views from the jacuzzi, on the south-facing terrace to the front of the chalet are peaceful and calm.

Chalet Carter welcomes dogs: the garden to the rear of the chalet is enclosed, and there is a gate to close off the jacuzzi deck. The owners are dog lovers themselves; in fact, the chalet is named after a family pet.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note: only one dog is allowed per stay. Owners must bring a cage to keep the dog in whilst they are out, or house the dog in the garage.



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Spacious and Family-Friendly Chalet

We loved everything about the chalet! Very convenient and spacious. We traveled with two young children, and it had everything we needed, which was amazing! The only downside is to not forget your soap and shampoo, as none are provided in the house. We will definitely be back!

A Perfect Escape in the Heart of the Aravis

Everything about our holiday at Chalet Carter was wonderful. Before going, the initial help from OVO was friendly, kind, and everything you could have wanted. We were quickly put in touch with the chalet manager, who was amazing. She replied promptly to every question we asked, was extremely friendly both in person and via messages, and gave helpful suggestions. The chalet itself was gorgeous, with everything thought of—from fun activities like a boules court and table tennis, to a beautifully placed hot tub, and seating and loungers arranged to catch the sun from all angles. The furniture was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely. Everything was as perfect as one could possibly wish for. We loved being on the edge of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, where the views were exceptional and there were cycling and walking routes right from the door. Thank you so much to the owners, to Mandy the chalet manager, and to OVO.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Chalet Carter. Le décor est approprié, l'ameublement, les lits confortables. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse à cause du climat, mais le terrain de pétanque a été très apprécié de même que le jacuzzi. Merci pour tout.

Dear James and Pamela...

... we have spent the past week at your chalet in the French Alps and we absolutely adored every minute of it. Chalet Carter has superseded every expectations we had of it. The area is perfect for activities like biking and hiking, and to visit nice places. Our boys and girl liked especially the games room and the jacuzzi. The adults enjoyed morning coffee in the early sun with a perfect mountain view. Love to come back some time...

What a truly beautiful chalet...

...in a truly beautiful part of the world. It had been perfect for our group: two 50 somethings, a 19, 17, 15 and 11 year old. Communication with OVO Network and Janelle the manager has been extremely efficient and comprehensive. Everyone of us has enjoyed all the different aspects of the chalet and the area, from the sublime views to the summer tobogganing, from the hot tub to the Alps Music Festival. All of it of the highest quality and enjoyment. We were all very sad to leave but thank you for the amazing week we've had.

Superbe séjour, quel magnifique chalet !

La terrasse, le terrain de pétanque, le confort des lits et le jacuzzi ont fait l'unanimité. La décoration est juste sublime, les meubles, les photos... très inspirant. Sur les trois jours nous avons eu une journée très ensoleillée où nous avons pu aller au Col de la Forclaz. Beaucoup de pluie concernant les 2 autres journées, mais quel plaisir d'aller se balader dans la somptueuse forêt en contrebas du chalet, et de passer du temps dans un tel décor. Merci pour ce séjour et vos prestations.
