Welcome to our beautiful stone gite in a quiet village with shops (gas station, chemist, bakery...) and market. 4 large bedrooms :3 are adjoining shower rooms .Nice fitted kitchen, comfortable sitting room, covered terrace. Private swimming pool ( open from june to october)with pool house (BBQ, fridge, sink, shower) and terrace where you can enjoy some rest.
Private entrance with parking for 2 cars.

Absolutely perfect stay

Highly recommend! The hosts were welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. The house and garden were lovely too. Plus a great location- 10 minute walk to town and many tourist attractions 15-30 minute drive.

Great location, fab house and pool

Christine and Philip were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is superb, a short walk to all the local town with all the necessary shops and supermarket. Numerous cafes and good selection of places to eat and we found the village active and welcoming. Lots of places of interest within 10 miles. Fabulous holiday with family and grandchildren and loved the superb and very clean pool which was alarmed. We highly recommend this property.

A lovely property particularly the garden which is very large, and well kept. A great spot with loads to do locally and the town is in walking distance. Christine & Phillipe were helpful when needed.

Lovely rustic house with pool near to village of St Cyprien

This is a lovely four bedroom house just on the outskirts of St Cyprien. Peaceful with a massive garden, lovely pool and a poolhouse with barbeque. Phillippe and Christine were lovely and helpful but everything was organised and there were no problems. It's really near to the village so you can walk/cycle for the bakery and restaurants. Highly recommended.

A simple but perfectly located house

We booked Christine's house after reading one of the the earlier reviews which summarised it perfectly. The house is located on a main road out of town. This is great for being located close to the centre of town (walking to the boulangerie rather than getting in the car is great). However it can be a little noisy but only if you are in the rear bedroom. The rest of the time you would realise it is there. The big gate does an excellent job of securing the house. Which makes it very safe for the children to run around without worrying about running outside of the property. The garden is absolutely gigantic. We regret not bringing any bikes as the kids would have gone for days ridding around it. The swimming pool is perfect with a BBQ beside As well as a pool shed with various toys for the pool. The kitchen has everything you need but not much else. Everything is very clean. Only slight criticism is the beds are a little hard which is just a personal preference more gab anything else. The house is perfectly located close to all the exciting Dordogne excursions. This is one of the massive positives which we didn't realise until arriving. The market on Sunday morning is a must - get there early to avoid overcrowding. Make sure you also head to the Thursday evening village night fete for some great french food and entertainment. Again get there early for a table. Finally Christine and Philippe are fantastic hosts. Nothing is a problem. The clearly look after the house well and are very friendly and helpful. Overall a great house excellent hosts and extremely well located. Thanks for a great holiday. Tom

Very relaxing time in an interesting, spaceous, well equipped and comfortable house and garden.

We were welcomed very warmly by Christine and Phillipe to a well equipped house with some interesting history. A particular delight for us was the large garden full of interesting plants and trees including a first for us: a Kiwi vine. The American style 'fridge completed a kitchen which had every convenience. A separate dining room next to the kitchen was a useful addition to the delightful covered outside sitting and dining area. There were only the two of us so we had complete choice of the four double/twin bedrooms each with its own en-suite facilities. We had a difficult job choosing! Wifi performance was good, although we were not trying to stream films. Christine and Phillipe made sure to keep us comfortable and pander to our every want, even when we just couldn't find the table spoons which were there all the time! We only wanted a relaxing time and most certainly got it in a very attractive are of France. We would have no hesitation recommending the house and the location to friends.

Excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison avec parc magnifique et piscine très agréable. Nous avons plus profité de la piscine avec les enfants en cette semaine de canicule que des environs, mais nombreux sites aux alentours à visiter. Maison conforme à l’annonce. Location à recommander !

Superbe Gite

Tres belle maison typique, magnifique jardin avec piscine. Hôte très sympathique, à recommander vivement. Bonne localisation pour rayonner dans tout le périgord noir et tout proche des commodités (très beau marché deux fois par semaine à 10min à pieds et supermarché proche).

Sublime séjour en Dordogne

Nous avons passé un beau et reposant séjour dans cette ravissante villa périgourdine. Le jardin est absolument magnifique, et la piscine très agréable! Le cadre est idyllique. Les chambres sont confortables, et disposent chacune d'une salle de bain. La maison est idéalement située, à quelques pas du centre ville et à 20min de Sarlat. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Seul bémol : la cuisine est très mal équipée. Nous avons crucialement manqué de certains ustensiles. La cuisine ne dispose en effet d'aucun "bon couteau qui coupe", pas suffisamment de saladiers ni d'ustensiles du quotidien type cuillère en bois ou spatule. Les poêles sont en très mauvais état. De même, nous avons regretté qu'il n'y ait pas au moins une éponge et un rouleau de papier toilette dans chaque WC au moment de notre arrivée. Malgré cela, le séjour fut superbe !

Wunderbare Lage

Schöner Ort im Tal der Dordogne; sehr freundliche Gastgeber direkt im Nachbarhaus. Zimmer waren sauber und alles notwendige war vorhanden. Riesiges parkähnliches Grundstück am Ortsrand. Natur pur, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
