Fully restored, the Château de Méouilles—a true medieval fortified house—is located in the heart of the Haut Verdon Regional Park. It stands atop a hill within the Haute Provence Geological Reserve, designated an UNESCO GeoPark, and sits on four hectares of land that also features a small chapel and the ruins of the former village of Méouilles. The main building overlooks the turquoise-blue waters of Lake Castillon. To the east, the paragliders’ launch hill offers a sky dotted with colorful canopies. To the west, the Pic de la Chamatte, almost always snow-capped, provides a vantage point that contrasts with the landscape of black rocks in the surrounding hills.
