Disliked: Cleanliness
The place was adorable and the beds were comfortable. Our families were comfortable with the setup and space. We didn’t expect pristine since this was a country setting and expected bugs, spiders and such. Having said, there were some simple things that would have made it better. There were blood stains on the queen room sheets we discovered on the first night. There was lots of burnt out light bulbs and bug, dust spider web accumulated in light fixtures which made it feel not very clean. The bathroom door handle was difficult to use and came off several times during the stay that we fixed as best we could. The same bathroom had toothbrush splatter on the mirrors when we arrived which maybe have been overlooked by cleaning crew. Lastly, there were random left behind items in drawers like a tooth tray and such which made unpacking uncomfortable. I recommend the cleaning crew check those small things which has a big impact on the perception of cleanliness. Overall it was a lovely place but felt like it needed a good deep clean and regular dusting of light fixtures which is an easy fix to make it a wonderful place to stay.
