The positives: proximity to Food City, which was convenient to run out and grab lunch or something we forgot. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with basic needs. The screen porch is a nice area with a patio table and swinging chairs. The negatives: We began our stay by being delayed to check in by an hour. I received a call 7 hours before check-in to find out our time of arrival. I asked a question that had been left unanswered in email correspondence relating to being charged for the number of people in our party, which had reduced by 2 since booking. A minor thing, 14 a day- but I was unhappy that between email correspondence and the person on the phone saying she would have to find out from the property management- then was ghosted. When we arrived at the property, a little after the 4pm check-in, someone was in the driveway. We drove around a bit, then went back- still there. I went to check into what was going on, and was told they were still cleaning. We did a grocery run and went for firewood for a fire later on, and they were STILL there, but said we could begin unloading. We unpacked while they were still cleaning, on wet floors that smelled like dirty mop water- and maybe it was due to the haste in which it was cleaned, but the kitchen retained that smell the whole time we stayed there. Despite them being late in allowing us in, we were never even offered any reimbursement on that time reduced from the stay we paid for. Communication could have been better.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The pictures reflected exactly how the house looked inside and out. Very clean property inside and out. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. We appreciate the Kcups and creamer to get us by till we went to store, which there is one within walking distance. The spacious property with driveway is very welcoming. We loved the screened in area. The only thing is I wish we would have stayed longer and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Property was an easy 20 min drive to downtown Chattanooga. Screened porch was nice to have. Kitchen is very small and dated. Bedrooms were good sized but beds & pillows weren’t very comfortable. House is older and could use updating and a deep clean.

Workedfor our family overall.
Location was close enough for what we wanted to do. St.Elmo is 14 mins away. Cute town with restaurants and ice cream shop. Easy to get to Chattanooga. Comfy beds. Powerful shower head. Huge bathroom, plenty of space to get ready especially if you had a few small children. Decorated nicely. Main couch in front of TV was not very comfortable. Cushions pushed down into edge.. but we didnt sit inside much. Fully enjoyed the outdoor space!! Porch and firepit was nice! Kids had fun with ladder golf! Indoor games to play as well. I wouldn't consider kitchen fully stocked. In my opinion it lacked some basic cooking dishes, and bakeware. Bring foil, baggies, cling wrap, things like that. If you're going to cook and need to store leftovers or wrap up food. There are a few platic storage containers. There are no cookie sheets or muffin tins, 1 very large bowl but no specific mixing or serving bowls. I choose vrbo's over hotels because we don't eat out much for budget and diet reasons and I need a kitchen to cook for my family. 2 burners on stove were not functioning.

Great family vacation
House was comfortable to share with extended family to all be together during a family trip. We were able to easily drive to all the locations we had planned to visit in the city, the foosball table was a big hit, and a nice big front yard for games.

Fantastic family property!
This house was wonderful for our family of 5 - our 3 “kids” are all adults and we had plenty of room. We stayed for 5 days in March and had a great time. The house has a very unique layout with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a traditional bunk-bed with a twin-over-full bunk. It has a large dining room with a table for 6, and a “breakfast nook” off the kitchen with a table for 4 and a foosball table. There are doors off the nook and the living room that open onto a very large screened-in porch that has another table for 6 and 4 “egg-type” chairs. The large living room has 3 couches, all with great seating for the wall-mounted flat screen TV with Samsung Plus. Outside there is a lovely firepit and grill that we used. The property is very large and private; had the feeling of being "out in the country." The homeowner was great to work with and provided clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both the bathrooms, as well as hand soap. The kitchen was well-equipped and the homeowner provided dish soap, sponges, hand soap and a towel. Everything was exceptionally clean. We usually travel with 3 other adult family members and we all would have had enough room to enjoy this property. We definitely recommend this property to any family and would stay here again! Would also look for other properties hosted by this owner.

Pleasant
My family and I had a very pleasant stay. The best part was the fireplace! It was nice to be able to Sit around the fire and enjoy the family. The other part of the house was a bit cold. I did inquire about the thermostat not going past67 however that issue was resolved. It was really cold outside. The house was clean and served us well. Not sure if we will book here again.
