This stunning 12th-century fortified watermill sits on its own private island, surrounded by four additional islands belonging to the estate — three hectares in total. The main island, easily reached by bridges, is filled with winding paths, lush greenery, and peaceful hideaways.

Enjoy the exclusive designer grey stone–tiled pool with elegant white surrounds, solar heating, poolside bar, and fridge. There’s also a riverside outdoor kitchen with a covered dining area, a large grassy play area with tennis net and football goal, a mini badminton court, table tennis, canoes, a kayak, fishing boat and rod, plus a 6–7-person hot tub — all set within your private grounds.

Two waterfalls provide a soothing backdrop, one flowing beneath a striking cantilevered balcony over the river and another cascading through a small canal that runs under the house in three places, preserving the mill’s authentic medieval charm.

The living accommodation, accessed via a modern floating staircase, occupies the first floor. It includes four double bedrooms (one en-suite with jacuzzi bath and private balcony), a wet room, and a Jack-and-Jill shower room.

While ideal for families, the property is not recommended for children under four. Lifejackets are provided for the canoes and boat. The estate is a haven for wildlife — herons, kingfishers, ducks, cormorants, red squirrels, coypu, and even golden orioles that nest in the treetops each year.

Two large portable air-conditioning units are provided. Due to the first-floor layout, the property is unsuitable for guests unable to manage stairs.
