Please Note About This Coastal Home
This home is part of the charm of the Oregon Coast and has its own character, history, and unique quirks that come with coastal living. While we work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-stocked stay with quality linens, towels, amenities, and responsive support, this is not a brand-new luxury build or cookie-cutter hotel space.

Coastal weather, salt air, sand, and the natural wear that comes with beach homes mean you may notice occasional imperfections or minor maintenance quirks during your stay. Guest safety and cleanliness are extremely important to us, and any true safety or major maintenance concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly.

If you’re looking for a perfectly polished, ultra-modern luxury experience where every tiny detail is flawless, this home may not be the best fit. But if you love cozy beach homes, sunsets, tide pools, local restaurants, salty air, and making memories on the Oregon Coast, we think you’ll feel right at home here.

Very much enjoyed this breaker avenue cottage. Pictures are accurate - spacious common spaces and well-equipped kitchen. So close to the beach - lovely walk to it. Highly recommend

This house was absolutely adorable! The seating rooms were great. A new couch was nice to see compared to what was pictured. It’s an older house but the owners have put new touches around the house. And the beach access was super close! A nice little path takes you right to the beach and a beautiful view of the twin rocks. This is definitely a house my family would stay at again.

Ocean return

We have stayed at this house for the past 5 or 6 years, and we keep coming back. Beachbreak is very good to work with - they are real people. The house is basic, clean, comfortable, private, and 3 minutes from the beach. It's always the same. (Kudos for new kitchen towels and more bath towels.)

Highly recommend this listing - so many comforts from home and more than we even realized we needed. Thank you for having multiple rooms to lounge and relax in after a day at the beach. We enjoy the many books the rental had to offer and even completed on of their puzzles. The beach just a few blocks away down a beautiful path and felt secluded as this is not as popular of a shoreline as nearby towns.

Our family of 6 loved our time at this sweet little cottage! What was very good: The home was easy to get into, and we loved the vintage vibe of the cute wallpapers and accents throughout. There is even a tape deck (just in case you wanted to pack your 80’s music and listen to it the real way…) The beach access is very close and safe, enabling us and our young adult kids to walk to the beach independently on a whim. One of the beach accesses even features a little swing right off the path- the little walk is beautiful even before you can see the ocean. We had a good time strolling on the beach and exploring. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook meals without trouble- there was even honey, which was a nice way to sweeten our coffee. There is no dish washer but we didn’t really mind. Not far from the kitchen is the garage access where we found the washer and dryer. As another reviewer mentioned, it was nice to have two separate living areas so when we were inside some could be sitting quietly reading or relaxing in one area while others watched TV or chatted in a different area. What held us back from full stars:A couple of things were missing/running low, and the pull-out couch did not have sufficient bedding BUT the host was extremely responsive and offered to run what we needed right over. Something tells me this was a one-time thing and it won’t be a problem for future guests at all. Thanks for the lovely stay and beautiful memories!

Cozy, comfy beach house with character

Comfortable! Lots of decorative touches with beachy character. The teen girls loved their privacy in their upstairs bedroom. We liked ours in the downstairs suite. And, if I hadn't already been smitten, there were books I wanted to actually read on the shelves! I got a ways through one, but we had good weather and weren't needing to spend much time there. When they said it was only a block to the beach they meant it. (Unlike another place we stayed that only meant that's where you accessed a long trail.) There's more to it on the inside than at first glance appears on the outside! Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the furnishings and amenities it provided!
