The location was perfect and right on the beach. Several balconies to sit and watch the waves. Great location within town. My kids loved the train and the ice cream shops right nearby. There is also a central market across the street where you can get some groceries. We have 3 kids -7, 4, and under 1- and we had plenty of room and games to play. The location on the beach just can't be beat. It's also a good central location for nearby hikes and visit to the Tillamook creamery. House was clean and comfortable. Fireplace was very easy to use.

Rockaway Beach Review

The property is ideally located, with great views and great access to the beach and to the little there is in Rock Beach. Also the property was spacious, clean and well equipped. I was disappointed though in how worn some things were though, especially the mattresses. Most were quite uncomfortable so it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. Anyway, it was an overall Ok experience but I definitely will not return to that property. disappointed though

Amazing Stay

The place was exactly described in the website. Perfectly ocean front and rooms are clean and well maintained. The Rockaway town is not as touristy as Cannon Beach so we really enjoyed staying here for cozy and private feels. Thank you!

Amazing Beach Retreat

My husband's parents, and our family (me, hubby, and our two year old) had an amazing time! The home is beach front and a great location. An easy walk to town for food and souvenirs. The beach access is an easy stroll from the downstairs bedroom. The home was packed with movies, games, music, and all the kitchen equipment youd ever need. Garage had tons of beach gear. Home had all the blankets and towels your family would ever need. We will stay again in this home next time we're in Rockaway. Highly recommend!

Great location right on the beach

Great time here. Lived in Oregon for 17 years but never came to Rockaway Beach. Unit was clean and very well equipped to make our stay very enjoyable. Unit is right on the beach. Close to shops and ice cream !! The only downside is the 3 flights of stairs.

Actually ON the Beach

Actually, truly sits beachside / beachfront, a few paces from the sand and a few more paces to waves. Newer construction, elegantly furnished, extremely clean, well equipped. Sleeps 7 comfortably on three queens and a daybed split between two separate bedrooms and a groundfloor dayroom area. Three and a half baths are highly convenient for larger families- Full bath on ground floor, 2 on second floor and a halfbath on the top floor living space with kitchen, dining and living room. Two gas fireplaces warm you at the flick of a switch. Tons of nice little touches like boardgames, firewood for beach events, CDs and a radio, beach toys, kites and such for kiddoes in the garage. (I left a couple more folding chairs from a local garage sale) I have never had a better communicating property manager than Donna (pronounced Don-ya). She was genuinely interested in my family's happiness and ease of stay. 24 hour minimart with grocery essentials across the street, plenty of quirky and cute shops nearby, as well as plenty of cafe options. The sound of the pounding surf is pervasive and delightful, as is the sweet/salty sea air. I guess the best testament I can give is that within hour of our arrival I was checking this place on Zillow to get an idea of potential sale price if I wanted to make an offer. Oh, and wife was very pleased with my lodging selection. Standing on one of the 5 balconies, watching the surf roll in, I got a Giant hug and a Thank you, Thank you! (After 25 years together a husband can use all of those he can get!) Only concern some might have- LOTS of stairs in this place. This is a 3.5 story, shotgun-style architecture, front to back, with great views of mountainside and surf, but you will be climbing up and down stairs a good bit in your visit. This is a great place to vacation!

The best ocean view

Beautiful unit with amazing view on the ocean! We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone who does not have mobility issues as there are a lot of pretty steep stairs. Also the bedroom at the ground floor is right on the beach but does not offer much privacy since it's the only way to access the beach.

Great Place!

I recommend this property for a great beach vacation. Easy to get to. Not too far from restaurants, stores. If I had two minor complaints, one would be the beds are so high that elderly people can't get up in them. We had to remove the box spring for my aunt. And the skylights, while beautiful really don't lend themselves to daytime movie/tv watching. There should be a TV in each room. The living room can't be darkened. Not too big of a deal as it was sunny and beautiful outside.

Beautiful place!

We had a wonderful time in this townhouse, it’s beautifully decorated, very clean and the views are amazing. It has everything you can ask for, really well equipped. We will love to do it again!
