"Pros:
Incredible views (even better than expected)
Friendly and helpful staff
Good breakfast
Cons:
Location is quite far from most attractions and restaurants
Steep, intimidating driveway (gets easier, but still slow to navigate)
Rooms are dated; we also had a few critters in ours
A/C didn’t work very well
Limited front desk hours (7 AM–9 PM) made early checkout inconvenient
Pool was cold and jacuzzis were only warm
No towels available at the pool (we found out the hard way)
Beds were very firm (though we still slept fine)
Overall:
Great views and staff, but the remote location and dated facilities made it feel more like a 3-star experience than a standout stay."
