Wonderful property, great location for exploring Reykjavik on foot. Felt like we were right in the middle of everything. Room had a full kitchen including a freezer, lots of space, very clean. Hotel staff was super helpful and kind. Free laundry which is great if you get rained on or bit dirty hiking. Definitely recommend!

I’ll start with the check in staff. They were so kind and helpful when we arrived that it put most of any anxiety we had when we got to the city to rest due to the ease with which they acclimated us into our stay and offered plenty of helpful tips (most notably parking) to navigate Reykjavík. We absolutely adored this property. It was a studio apartment style setup with some comforts of home, most notably the kitchenette set up with sink, dishes, dishwasher, microwave and electric stovetop if you prefer to dine in while visiting. There was a small grocery store right around the corner with mostly anything you’d need to cook in your room or stock up for any adventures that you would be getting into outside of the city. We spent most of our time exploring the island but having a comfortable place to call home when we returned to in the evenings was such a pleasant feeling each day. Thank you so much for everything and we would love to return for a future visit and stay with this property. Keep up the great work!!

Wonderful hotel - we stayed in the main building in a 1 bedroom apt. Clean and well cared for. Close to center of Reykjavík everything. Very homey with breakfast. Will stay here again next time!

We stayed for 2 nights. The property is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment rooms were fantastic, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is loaded with needed utilities and dinner ware. Breakfast is simple and sufficient. Especially as they deliver to the room so that you dont have to try to finish breakfast by a particular time. That includes milk, juice and fresh bread every morning from the nearby bakery. Bathroom was great. Once of the best experiences that I have had. When I go back to Iceland, I will stay there again.

Perfect for traveling with a teen. The breakfast basket was delicious and abundant - enough for breakfast and lunch. They accommodated vegetarian and gluten free diet beautifully - so helpful. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, museums, bus pick ups, and tour starting spots. Laundry available in our building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Love the Reykavik Residence product. Have stayed there over 30 times. Their check-in and check out via phone works well most of the time (did not this time) but also means thats they hardly know their most faithfull customers. Most hotels where I stayed as many times as I have here give me some special treatment... here they dont really know who I am ! This time got a rooom where I had nowhere to hang my suits.... not ideal !

Great location. Beautiful spacious apartment. Luxurious amenities. We even got to see northern light outside the balcony that night. good deal booking this property via Expedia. Would recommend! however, there was construction going on right outside of the hotel during our stay, made it a bit inconvenient. Hotels in this area don't offer parking but there were many parking spaces on the street and the iceland parking app made it easy. Also, house keeping would knock on the door right at 11am if you didn't check out early enough.
