The hotel is clean, beautifully restored, and well appointed. The restaurants have great food. The included shops are interesting. And the staff is excellent. The location of the hotel between the river and the historic downtown area is awesome. For an easy getaway destination, Red Wing, MN and the St James Hotel are a perfect combination.

The rooms are smaller but nicely furnished. The bedding was top tier. The dining room menu was delicious and affordable. Loved walking the surrounding streets to visit the shops. We will be back. It was a great away.
