We had a superior king room with a view. The service was fantastic, lovely staff. The room was a little outdated but it had everything we needed. We ordered room service and the food was fantastic. Happy with our stay and would come back again.

We enjoyed another lovely stay at Heartland Hotel. Convenient for its location and close distance to the Queenstown Gardens and the waterfront. Just needs a bit of a spruce up in the bathrooms and rooms.

Excellent location for guests who have no mobility issues. It's a short walk to the center of town with many restaurants and tourist attractions. Return to the hotel has 1.5 blocks of steep incline. Parking is first come, first served. Arrive by late afternoon to secure a space near your room. Service is what elevates this property to a high level. Every encounter we had with staff exceeded our expectations and proved to be helpful. From regulating the room temperature to doing laundry to dining with ease.

Handy local

We have stay here a few times as it a handy location, staff are friendly and helpful, unfortunately this time it felt like our room was in the basement , very dark and had a smell when entered the room and was noisy being right on the footpath, I will make sure in future to never get the bottom level .
