Great stay in Princeville

Overall, we had a great stay. The location is wonderful! The walk to secret beach from the backyard is amazing. The space was plenty big for our group of 10. Communication with the hosts was fantastic and they went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. We would recommend this place in Princeville!

Family Time in Kauai

Everything at the property was just as it was described! My wife and I shared the house with our adult children plus one (we have no grandchildren). The house was in a good location for exploring the north side of Kauai. Everyone was comfortable in their spaces. The large kitchen was great for preparing meals together. It was a fantastic week and we hope to return again someday.

Best Stay in Princeville!

We (Family of 10) spent 4 nights and had the best stay. The house was perfect for us -- plenty of room, very clean, and the view from the 2nd floor balcony was gorgeous! And property manager was so friendly and very accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful home with a breathtaking view, especially the morning sunrise. More than enough room for our group of 9 adults and 1 child It was very nice having a common area between the bottom floor bedrooms. This made it feel private from the upstairs. I can't say enough about how much I loved the master bedroom and the spacious layout of the upstairs living aera. The beautiful view from every room. The beds were all comfortable. Correspondences with the host were very easy and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

50th anniversary family celebration

We chose this property for location, beauty, and space. It exceeded our expectations. This trip was a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and we wanted to bring our children and grandchildren together for some family bonding time. With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and ocean view, it was perfect. The path to the secret beach is a bit more difficult than I had hoped but the house is so close to other incredibly beautiful beaches that it didn't matter at all. We spent every day on one beach or another and enjoyed evening meals together on the spacious lanai. We stayed a week and no one wanted to leave. Our 7 year old granddaughter asked if we could buy the house and just stay there forever. We will cherish this memory and look forward to building on it.

Great house - great location

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at this house. It is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a grocery store, liquor store and gas station nearby. The house was great for the 3 families. Keep the bedroom doors open so the A/C can cook them off. Plenty of ceiling fans to keep the air moving. The beach is nice but the grandparents staying with us we’re not able to make the hike to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house!

Beautiful location

The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. It sits right on the coast with a trail to a hidden beach where you can snorkel. The house was huge and easily fit 7 of us. There were a ton of beach chairs and it’s about 10-15 minutes from the Hanalei Bay where we do most of our swimming. The owner is very easy to communicate with and responsive. Some things need to be updated like towels and kitchen appliances.

Lovely ocean views from balcony

Awesome views of ocean! Secret beach trail in backyard…. The kids loved it. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors! There was a baby albatross under the balcony and a neighbor gave the baby a book of albatross! We loved eating on the balcony with the ocean view…. And watched the sunrise there every morning. We listened to ocean waves as we fell asleep at night. Just an amazing house 🌴🌸🌺❤️

Beautiful Home

The 5 bedrooms worked perfect for our group of 10 people. The house is beautiful with a trail down to a beach right off the back yard. Note that the trail is not easy but doable for most people.

Amazing!

Not sure what i can say that hasn't already been said. The house is perfect. We were greeted by an albatross upon arrival and it was pretty cool. The ocean views are better than the pictures would indicate. The kitchen was well stocked. Awesome little trail to the beach. The owner even called me to make sure everything was cool. Nice guy. I would definitely stay there again.

Large Home with Beautiful View!

The gorgeous tropical view was the highlight of this spacious home with amazing sunrises and sunsets! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lanai almost everyday. They have supplied just about anything you’ll need and while the northern location is farther from some of the things we enjoy doing, the beauty was well worth it! There are a few minor repairs needed but overall it was a great place to stay, and Rod is available and easy to communicate with. Mahalo Rod!

Beautiful home in Princeville

It is a beautiful home. There was plenty of room.We enjoyed our stay there. A couple of questions came up and our host responded very quickly. One thing we learned was that you needed to keep the bedroom doors downstairs open for the air conditioning to work the best.

Great place for large groups

This place was amazing! We had a great time and the neighborhood was lovely. The only drawback was the air conditioning doesn’t cool the whole house, it is a mini split not central air conditioning, but it certainly does help in the main living areas! There were so many extras for the beach, it helped make our trip that much more enjoyable. The kitchen was also well stocked. We had 3 generations on this trip and this house had ample space for us to space out.

Beautiful spacious property

The property has 5 bedrooms and worked out perfectly for a family of 10. The parent/grandparents and two families of four. Each family had their own wing. And the parents/grandparents their own master bedroom. The views from the balcony were very nice and we could watch a beautiful ocean sunrise in the morning when the sky was clear. The kitchen/dining room sits 10 and worked out well for dinners at home. We did not need to use the air conditioner due to the cool ocean winds at night. A few things needed minor repairs. We notified the owner who we understand was going to follow up in those items. We weren’t disappointed and would stay there again.

Large family trip

Beautiful home. Loved the master suite-very comfortable bed, spacious and private. House was laid out well for a large family of adults/couples. Great location and neighborhood. Loved hearing all the birds and the ocean. North shore beaches are a little difficult to get to but beautiful. Need a car a little more than I hoped for due to Princeville location, but not the fault of the house or owner. Only criticism of the house is that the smaller applicants such as blender need to be replaced/updated. Otherwise nice linens/ample towels etc. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and the use of your beautiful home!

Amazing Family Kauai Getaway

The house was amazing and comfortably fit our multi family group perfectly. Oh and the view from the lanai was incredible. We enjoyed having a full kitchen for family dinners, the multiple living spaces for kids and grown ups, laundry, plenty of bathrooms, everyone had a bed and they had every beach accessory we needed! We enjoyed having a yard for the kids to get their wiggles out and the short hike to sea lodge beach. We really enjoyed the more chill Princeville/Hanalei area and loved Hanalei bay. It was the most amazing vacation and we definitely had a hard time leaving!

Great for groups!

This place was perfect for our big group! Plenty of space for everyone without being on top of each other. Very, very well stocked and clean. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the fantastic view! Highly recommend.

Beautiful paradise-level property

I stayed for 7 nights with my wife and three daughters during the second week of May; this was planned as our 'last' family vacation before two of my daughters head-out on their own into the world of college and the military... so I wanted the entire trip to be unforgettable. This property delivered above expectations - it is in a perfect location on the most beautiful side of Kauai and is insanely close to some of the most desirable attractions and hiking spots. There is literally a path in the backyard leading down to a secluded beach, and the hike to get there is fun. This property is also minutes away from Secret beach which was worth the visit. If you are going to Kauai, you should stay here.

Paradise

Our experience in renting this lovely property was stellar. We had questions months before we arrived, and all were promptly answered. Home access information was sent well in advance, enabling us to get the information to all fellow travelers. The house is even better than the website photos and video. Rooms were all spacious with large closets. Living areas were amazing, providing space for the 8 people in our group to find quiet time and cozy corners. The washing machine and dryer were a total bonus for the clothes we played in each and every day on this beautiful island. While the house listing mentioned chairs and other such beach gear, we had no idea there would be enough for all of us to lounge on the beach with chairs and beach towels, boogie board and snorkel. The ice chest was used every day. There were other outdoor toys we did not even touch, but we felt so blessed by what we had available for use! The dining areas on the outdoor lanai and the inside dining room were perfect. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat in such comfort inside or outside. We are a family of cooks and the kitchen was greatly appreciated and well stocked. It was such a pleasure to have more than enough of everything…glasses, plates, cutlery. The stemless wine glasses were also appreciated. Instructions for the hot tub, which was thoroughly enjoyed, and other dos and donts were very clear. There was no lack of clarity as to what could and could not be done in the house. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Princeville, where gorgeous albatross landed and took off from the back yard overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean surf. Neighbors we met were so kind, sharing nesting and historical albatross information with us - pointing out the babies. As we cooked our first meal, we noticed an issue with the dishwasher and called the local contact, Troy. Troy could not have been more prompt in getting to the house to fix the issue. He was kind and we enjoyed speaking with him - - we probably should have asked him to dinner! This was a very down to earth house in a beautiful location. There was really nothing fancy in the house - besides the beautiful view of paradise - yet it was well appointed and more than functional. It would be a pleasure to be able to return with our family to this lovely home for more celebration and family time on this garden island.

Amazing ocean view

Lovely home with an amazing view of the ocean. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for separation of parents and teenagers each got their own room. Large kitchen that we cooked in almost every morning and night. Home has seating at the bar in the kitchen so while cooking others can conversation with you. Large dining table inside and outside to fit everyone’s comfort. Enjoyed morning coffee and tea while taking in the lovely ocean and all the greenery. Beautiful birds come to visit daily and we gave them all names. We saw several Albatrosses resting in the yard. We had a rather rainy and cool week so didn’t have to run the AC at all so can’t speak for that. Plenty of beach chairs, a small cooler, umbrellas (came in handy for this week), towels, 4 boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Since we had a wet week there were many mosquitoes and the local grocery store was completely out of repellent and itch cream so recommend you bring those if you have a rainy time. Another big plus was the full size washer and dryer (laundry soap and dryer sheets included), hair dryers in all bathrooms and an outdoor shower to wash off all the sand. Host is very responsive and offered wonderful suggestions on where to grab groceries and things to do around the island. The internet went down for a day and host provided communication on that. The only random thing was the refrigerator made a constant humming noise that was loud at times but it didn’t interfere with our stay. Looking forward to coming back here again!!!
