The hotel is located in a great area and it’s super easy to walk around. The hotel in itself is really nice. However, we had issues from the moment we checked in. We had chosen this hotel specifically for its room sizes since it seemed like all the other hotels around the area had really small rooms. When we checked in they gave us a room that was probably 200sqf and had no windows, just a wall as a view…definitely not the room we booked. If we would have wanted a small room we could have gotten one right in front of the river with a beautiful view. Went back to the front desk and they moved us to the room we had reserved initially…so that was our first impression. Not sure why they did that.
The new room was super comfortable and the beds were great with plush pillows and thick amazing down comforters. The only issue was that the AC did not work properly so we were sweating the whole night. The next day we told the hotel about it and they sent someone to repair it but basically nothing changed. We told the front desk about it and they said they would send a fan up to the room and give us lighter bedding by the time we came back from dinner. When we got back late at night there was no fan, no light bedding, NOTHING! When we told the front desk about it all they did was offer an apology.
Not sure if I would stay here again or recommend it based on the staff responses to situations.
