The full kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts to fresh-caught dinners, with a stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, and ample counter space. The adjacent dining table seats the group for shared meals just steps from the water view.



Outdoor Space

The expansive multi-level deck is the heart of Calm Clam. Covered areas offer shaded dining and lounge seating with a BBQ grill, while open deck space stretches to the canal where you can fish from the dock, watch the sunset, and breathe in the fresh Gulf air.

Pick up your gate card and wristbands at the Welcome Center, then enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, indoor hot tubs, the par-3 golf course, tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, mini golf, a fitness center, billiard and game rooms, and the community rec halls. A marina, fishing, and the on-site Signature Grill round out the resort.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire cottage, the waterfront deck, and all Long Island Village resort amenities.

• Self check-in with a lockbox makes arrival simple. Please leave the keys in the lockbox at checkout rather than the office.

• Pick up your gate card and wristbands at the Long Island Village Welcome Center to access the community and amenities.

• Calm Clam is a single-level cottage, with all living space on one floor.

• Parking is limited with vehicle-size restrictions. Most lots fit one standard vehicle; large trucks, vans, and oversized SUVs may not fit.



The Neighborhood:

Long Island Village is a gated waterfront resort community in Port Isabel, set along the canals of the Laguna Madre. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a par-3 golf course, tennis and pickleball, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, mini golf, a fitness center, game rooms, and an on-site restaurant, with South Padre Island's beaches just over the bridge.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for your stay. Long Island Village sits just off Highway 100 in Port Isabel, with South Padre Island's beaches, restaurants, and shops about a 10-minute drive over the Queen Isabella Causeway. Brownsville and its airport are about 40 minutes away.



Other Things to Note:

• Due to ongoing construction and occasional water line repairs in the community, temporary water outages may occur during your stay. Most are restored within an hour, though some may last longer.

• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

• Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in consideration of our neighbors.

• Pets are welcome with prior approval. Up to two dogs, 25 lbs or under, are allowed with a $100 pet fee. No cats.

• Please do not walk pets on the golf course.

• Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Only registered guests are permitted.

• Please take all trash to the community compactor facility near the tennis courts on departure.

• Parking is limited with vehicle-size restrictions. Please review the parking notes in Guest Access.

• Every reservation includes accidental damage protection for added peace of mind.

• Additional fees and taxes may apply to your reservation total.

• No smoking, parties, or events.
