There aren't enough words to describe how much we loved this property, the owners, the cabin, location and again the owners and Dakota. We truly had the most amazing experience here and made some life long memories together as a married empty nesters ! The location is perfect for Ouray, Telluride, Ridgway and access is amazing. Again the owners are the sweetest people ever and we will definitely be back in the next couple years the see all the beautiful aspens in the fall ! Don't pass this one up you will definitely regret it if you do !

We had an amazing time at the Bunkhouse! Cozy fires, breakfast and dinner on the deck overlooking the mountain, warm welcome by the hosts - and that does not really capture the magic of this place!

The absolute best and most beautiful place to stay. It was clean, cozy and perfect for a mountain retreat weekend. The hosts are so kind and friendly that I will book here for every trip in Telluride. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

The cabin was great! Beautiful drive in, and the dogs loved romping in the outdoors. Plus, the hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming. They even stayed up with the lights on when we were getting in late our first night!

The Bunkhouse is a hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough. It’s scenic, serene, and the perfect place to stay in between Telluride and Ouray. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful with the fall foliage, and right off the Last Dollar Road, which has some of the best fall colors. I loved my stay at this cozy cabin, and plan on coming back!

Our stay

The deck was a nice place to have coffee in the morning or watch the sunset in the evening. The Bunkhouse is in a quiet location but an easy drive to Telluride and area hiking. The hosts were the best!

The property is beautiful. The location is remote which is nice but it’s a little farther from Telluride than we thought. Our hosts are very nice the remembrance of our stay was a lovely touch.

What a perfect place to stay in the San Juans! It is situated between Ridgway and Telluride, with Ouray nearby as well, so mountain exploration possibilities are endless. The location of the bunkhouse is beautiful and although it's in the same driveway as the main house, it still maintains its privacy, especially with the deck. Also, the kindness of the folks living in the main house is unparalleled, so we could not recommend this stay enough!

Peaceful Getaway with Friendly Hosts

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts made us feel right at home with chocolates and a hand written note, and even a treat for the dog! The drive was a little bumpy, but we absolutely loved the scenery on the drive in. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot close to everything!

The place was so sweet and cute, had everything I needed for a solo getaway! Was super close to all shopping & great restaurants. A 4 min walk to the Gondola into Mountain Village too was a major plus. Looking forward to another stay in the future :)
