Very poor communication and locking the door.
When leaving, I tried locking the door by putting in the code and pulling the door shut. I did not realize that there was another step to lock the door. Therefore, there was a lock on the door inside that I locked and shut the door there were no instructions on how to use the keypad And when we arrive back that evening, we were unable to get into the house. I called the owner of the home and he came over to assist. There was a keypad by the garage and I asked him if there was a code that we could use to go into the home. He said no. But when he arrived, he immediately went to the keypad and put the garage up. The door to get into the home from the garage was locked as well. He said that he woul call a locksmith to come and unlo the door and he left. He didn’t tell me that he was leaving and I felt very uncomfortable sitting in the driveway for 45 minutes for the locksmith to come. Whe the locksmith arrived it took him a good 45 minutes to get the door unlocked. We sat in the driveway every bit of three hours. The owner of the home I asked him if he had a key he said no only the manager had a key. which didn’t make much sense to me because both of them should have a key. There should also be instructions on how to operate the keypad in the house on the counter or somewhere so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. He never apologized for the inconvenience and I felt he was rude. The home was very clean and comfortable. There’s some problems with with the smoke are located.
